If you didn't know there was a restaurant inside the store you would drive right by!
Hubby had fish & chips, he said it was the best he had ever had! When we asked what type of fish it was & our waitress said catfish we were both shocked as neither of us like catfish. It was light & flakey, not at all like typical cat fish!
This is definitely not a normal restaurant, mainly locals, but a great find :-)

We driving home from North Carolina to Texas and at Malvern and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. We were hungry and asked the attendant at the front desk what restaurant she recommended and she recommended El Parian. She said that they served good Mexican food there. She gave directions and we drove to the restaurant. It was not far from the hotel and when we got there the parking lot was three quarters full. We were seated quickly and we ordered Spinach and Cheese Enchiladas. They both came with rice and beans. Both were good and at a very reasonable price-$6.99. The service was also very good. If we are again in Malvern we will certainly eat there again.

Order the cheese dip! It's the best cheese dip ever! The staff is always super friendly, and the restaurant is always very clean. The food is very good, especially the cheese dip! The portions are always just right! Did I mention the cheese dip is amazing?

My friend and I ate here on Friday night when they offer a pizza buffet which includes a decent salad bar. The waitresses walk around with fresh made pizzas and pizza desserts and will serve you at your table along with drink refills.
The pizza selection on the buffet was also quite good. It's not fancy but pizza places usually aren't. Staff was great and upbeat. I thought it was great!

Headed to Illinois from Texas going deer hunting. Looked up on Trip Advisor for burger place nearby. Decided to try Mel's and was very pleased with the decision. Burgers and onion rings were awesome. But OMG the fried pies were amazing. The building Definitely not much to look at but worth the stop.

They have average at best BBQ, It smells good but is smothered in sauce and so no smoked meat flavor. The portions on the catfish are inconsistent, but it is good. They have funny business hours. The lady who takes the orders is friendly and the wait is fairly quick.

I went here for lunch last week, and ordered a tuna on wheat. They have provalone cheese now. Good sandwich. And the staff was very friendly. I will be back for sure.

I have been hearing about this place from co-workers, so I decided to try it out. They moved to Page streeet now. Don't let the food wagon scare you, this is some of the best mexican food around! I ordered the signature burrito, and Debbie asked me to try her dip. It is called mexican corn dip, and my wife and I are hooked! I got that as well. The burrito weighs about 5 pounds! I could only eat half. I took the dip home to my wife. She enjoyed it so much she drove into town the next day for some more. Today i had the Train Wreck, and it was wonderful. You need to try this place out.

We stopped in while traveling through the area for dinner. They have a good variety of Tex-Mex foods plus ribs and catfish and American food favorites. I had the lemon-pepper catfish with a salad, pinto beans and fried okra and it all was fantastic. My husband had the baby back ribs, salad, pinto beans and onion rings. The ribs were meaty and so tender that the meat fell away from the bones. Our server was friendly and efficient. She kept checking to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place!

THE best pizza. A family business and our family tradition. Fri que burgers to taco burgers and lots in between. We always eat in for the chips and salsa while we,a group of 15-20, enjoy food and visit. Try it you will not be disappointed!
