Eating at the Sabai Jai is not just the eating - it;s an experience. With typically Thai surroundings, that includes owner Alex, the servings are abundant and absolutely exquisite, with natural and authentic ingredients that give that original taste. And don't worry about the menu written in Thai language - Alex will just pull a chair beside you and guide you through it expertly. It's one of those 'must to' when in MarsaskalaThank you, we are thrilled you love our food so much that you have become a frequent diner at our Bistro. As an entrepreneur I can say I am very attentive to details and pampering my guests flows from my heart. As of next year it should get even better as we will include more dishes, plus a variety of Thai deserts. Khap Khun Krap.

We had a good coffee here and returned for lunch.Lampuki was on the menu apparently the fish migrates between Sicily and Malta from the end of August until December and is very popular in Malta,it is listed as being like Dorado.as I have seen it in several restaurants I thought I would try it.The chef made a great job but I have to say the flavour was not to my taste and I would let it swim by unimpeded on its migration,however,I am in the minority.I am glad I tasted it but for me it was far more oily than Dorado.My partner enjoyed his Maltese burger ,the Italian white wine was very good as was the chocolate fondant with icecream .Service is very friendly and relaxed and we had a lovely leisurely lunch in the sunshine.The owner/chef takes pride in the food which is fresh with good ingredients.We will definitely return ,I will try a different fish next time.

Excellent food, generous portions and efficient friendly service. The place is very well kept with original architectural features dating back many years. The cellar offers the perfect atmosphere for a private night out with friends.
