The menu was small, but it quickly became clear that's because of an emphasis on quality. The food was amazing! And there was a lot if it. We came in planning to finish with dessert, but had to abandon the idea after the first course.In a land where meat consumption is celebrated, it was refreshing to accidentally find accidentally a vegetarian restaurant.The people, uncharacteristic of a lot of places we've stopped here, were warm and friendly, too, making it all the better.It may not be a place for the overly finicky, but I highly recommend Pachamama.

We came to this place for dinner spontaneously one night and could not have been more thrilled. The outdoor seating in nestled among trees hung with pretty lights. Itâs incredibly romantic. You feel separate from the other diners but the service is extremely attentive.The dishes are more tapas style so sharing is recommended. The cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were delicious.We had some of the best steak weâve EVER had here. So tender and perfectly cooked. Even the spiced nuts and brie cheese appetizers were top-notch. The desserts were absolutely amazing.I canât recommend highly enough!!

We have stayed in Punta a number of times but this is the first time we have been to this restaurant. And it will not be the last! A great find. The menu offers a good choice and there is something to suit all tastes and moods. Clearly a very skilled Peruvian chef and we tried both the ceviche and the tiradito which were excellent. In fact all three courses we each had were delicious with the exception of the Thai chicken which was just âokâ, but I blame myself for ordering something which clearly was not a speciality in an Uruguayan restaurant with a Peruvian chef! Nice place to have coffee and desserts or a healthy lunch. Enjoyed my chocolate volcán cake. Good portions of salad and friendly service. Only downside is I never know when they will be open but I do like their food. My last experience wasnât great as my hamburger was literally raw in the middle and they reheated and brought it back but it was still raw. Thatâs been my only experience that had any issues though.
