Su Bar really feels like your bar, the owner and wait staff are very friendly and make you feel like you are part of their family. They offer a rotating menu that showcases French style cuisine with Uruguayan favorites, such as milanesas (fried chicken or beef schnitzel). My husband is French and this restaurant is located in our neighborhood of Parque Rodo and we eat here often. During our many visits we have always received top service and delicious food. Just recently we tried their vegetable canelones, which are crepes stuffed with vegetables and spinach and topped with a cream and tomato sauce, garnished with a piece of slow roasted beef. All served with a side salad. You will not go hungry, in fact the portions are so generous, my husband and I split the main dish and salad and saved room for a great piece of chocolate ganache pie and ice cream. Everything here is homemade with care. You will also find the best selection of whisky that weâve seen on offer here in Uruguay. If you are in the area for lunch, drop on in, we are certain you will not be disappointed.Thank you very much!You're always welcome

We went here on a public holiday as everything else was closed nearby. It was a ghost town and I was not that keen. I was pleasantly surprised. My wife enjoyed her chicken schnitzel and my spaghetti was good. Definitely 10-20% overpriced but good food and service nonetheless.

We had lunch for 3 people. 2 steaks and 1 corvina fish. They were all incredible. The steak was very large, no fat or gristle, perfect medium. The fish was incredibly fresh and large in portion. They are very slow in service but the quality of food makes up for it. Lunch for 3 was USD $50.Thanks Joseph! you are very much welcome again. Best regards

We gathered in Bruta for a girls night out. We has two rounds of gourmet type tapas, first round one tapa each (we were 5), second round three more. The Mediterranean cooking was very good. The restaurant is quite new, I imagine it will need to change the menu quite often since the choices are few. I recommend making a reservation, it is always quite full.

The quality of the food and service of this restaurant is way beyond what I would have expected from Montevideo. This restaurant could compete in any of the major metropolitan cities such as NYC and be one of the best. The husband and wife team running it have found great staff that deliver on a great experience. I loved all of the food we tried. It is a lunch counter setup so be prepared to wait for seating. It is worth the wait. Save room for dessert as their pastry chef is legit.

Usually this is an amazing place. Very unique property with amazing views. This time the wait staff just couldn't seem to get anything right and everything took agonizingly long amounts of time.
