Malaysia is a beautifully complex vacation destination, a land where ancient rainforests give way to multicultural city life. Capital city Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, while in charming Melaka the vibe is more quaint and historical. Many of the country’s national parks offer opportunities for fantastic whitewater rafting, and the exclusive Sipadan dive site (off the east coast of Borneo) is among the best in the world.

Very nice staff, informative and helpful. Room very dirty, with dirty bed sheets and blankets , one dirty towel, floor not cleaned, gecko poo on wall. Very basic room with little equipment. We booked a quadruple room and had only 3 towels. Shampoo and shower soap not provided, no kettle, shower on top of the toilets , no locking of the room from the inside. Location quite far away from main activities, all transports are expensive and not always available in the evening. Transport arranged by the hotel is quite expensive, e.g from airport to jetty was 50RM per person in group shared vehicle while grab is 52RM for entire car. Additional 3% charge for paying by card

I was staying at Papa Rashid Hashim's house at Tanjung Karang. As a local myself, I felt very fortunate to have the chance to experience the warmed and hospitality treatment by Papa Rashid and his family members. Papa Rashid is such a lovely person who love sharing experiences and knowledge with us. His wife prepared the best Nasi Lemak ever, from scratch, with fresh fishes from the market and great teh panas. I have tried Ikan Keli fishing, rice farm tour, Malay-culture learning, made kuih bahulu, and more. Faeez, the homestay coordinator, was a great and very accommodative person in my whole 2 days journey in Tg Karang.

We had a reservation for 8 nights but unfortunately our ferry was canceled due to adverse weather conditions and it was not possible to travel to Tioman Island for a few days. Even though our booking was not refundable, the property agreed to let us cancel without any charge, given the unfortunate circumstances. Thank you so much for the flexibility! If we come back and we finally get to Tioman, we’ll definitely book here again.

An Eco-Friendly Resort - featuring series of Beachfront Huts in a private secluded beach. A perfect hideaway and escape into the freedom of nature and the Islands' beautiful tropical environment.
Beautiful location on the beach. Room is simple but fine. Staff is very friendly. And, very important, the chef is a perfect cook! Roti canai with a fresh pineapple juice in the morning, and in the evening a nice local dish. But if you prefer Western food, he will make it as well. Water is crystal clear. We saw stingrays, sharks, turtles.

Located in the peaceful village of Juara, overlooking the South China Sea to the front and the jungle to the rear River View offers the chance to relax and unwind away from the crowds and stresses of every day life.We operate as a responsible resort, concentrating on the conservation of this beautiful location and respect for the local community.
Stayed here in 2021 and loved it. ? Riverview is right on one of Tioman's most beautiful beaches in Juara. I recommend the chalets right on beach overlooking the bay. The chalet was spacious, sleeping 3 adults, with a spacious en-suite bathroom. Riverview is right next to what they call "Python Alley", the river that runs through the mangrove, so we got to take the kayaks ?♀️ down looking for pythons in a tree (at a safe distance!) ? Thanks to Julie and Simon for being wonderful hosts!

Eveything was okay - the scenery, the room and the affordable price at the Onion. However all the good impression vanished at night! The nice and peaceful environment destroyed by the loud noise speaker put up seems to be from the cafe area. Very annoying specially when you have small kids who went to bed early only to be awake by the inconsiderate loud noise at 10pm! An attempt to communicate with the contact person to no avail. Its hard to sleep again after being rudely awake by the loud sound. I think there should be guideline as to respect the privacy of others in such place such as no loud sound after 9pm and converse in controlled voice as not to disturb others. Anyway I think this will be my first and last stay at this place.

The island was quiet because the sea was pretty rough last week. We took the Cataferry which operates 1 trip a day. The seat was comfortable and departure was on time. So you have a choice of either Bluewaters or Cataferry for your trip to Tioman. Nazris Place is completing 5 seaview rooms. Just a stone throw to the beach. Ideal to sit and relax to hear the sound of the waves and lovely Sunset. Operating hours at the restaurant has also improved. Breakfast now served from 8AM to 1200 noon to cater for those wake up late and Lunch from 11AM to 3.30PM for those who skip breakfast. Meal Price is still reasonable. Needless to say, staff are friendly and helpful. A little upgrading around the resort but does not distrub your stay. Still the best resort in Ayer Batang for couples, solo, family groups travellers for its good beach, food, water sports, diving and meeting new friends.

We stayed at paradise point for 1 week and we loved it. The chalet has the basics... but its nice when you want to relax. The beach is just in front and the food at the restaurant there was delicious! The owners are very helpful and humble. Definitly a place to stay if you dont like luxurious things.

We are an off-grid jungle farmstay in Lenggong, Malaysia offering an experience of sustainable living close to nature. (p/s: We do not have resort-style facilities and amenities. It's a back-to-basic living style. Some love it, some don't!) Ideal for relaxation and getting away from the city to enjoy the natural surroundings and to experience off-grid living for adventurous people and nature-loving families.
Very interested in sustainable farming, off grid living, nature and adventure. Couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to engage in each. Albeit brief, the stay in the mountain oasis was exhilarating and refreshing. Bathing in the river shower, listening to the Gibbons Monkeys each morning, trekking up to a crashed bomber from 1950's, learning about sustainable, natural farming and much more. Ladia and his family are a joy!

We stayed for three nights before we couldn't stand it any longer and moved to one of the other resorts down the beach. The price is now 45RM per night with no amenities whatsoever, not even the light in the bathroom was working. Holes in the floor and walls, the place is dilapidated. There is no laundry service or safe deposit box or any of the things it says they provide online. There is not even a place to get drinking water, you have to walk 10 minutes down the beach to one of the other hotels. They don't provide a blanket for the bed either so at night we were freezing cold. There were three mice and a nice 10cm brown spider to keep us company at night as well. This place is not a bargain. It is downright dangerous. The porch flooring gave way under our chair one night as we were sitting there. We moved down the beach to Salang Beach Resort. Much better place. 40RM per night only for basic room in good condition with housekeeping service, laundry service, restaurant, drinking water, and they organize snorkeling trips and boat travel for you if you want. Give you soap and toilet paper too.
