My partner and I called for lunch . We were staying in the resort 1 day.beautiful view of the sea. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Both chose the lamb and cream potatoes. Lots of little lamb chops. Tender and tasty. Cream potatoes are delicious. Will be coming back nearer the end off our Croatian road trip.

Ate here a few times. Very good food. Lovely girl serving. Very chatty. The tables go out onto the narrow jetty and you can eat with the waves lapping around you. Very Romantic. Reasonable prices.

Dear Don Antonio Restaurant is listed in the wrong category Coffee & Tea in Makarska it damages my business I ask you to urgently correct thank you
My wife and I visited this slightly off the beaten track restaurant twice. Antonio, the owner, works his magic at front of house, while his dearly beloved cooks the most delicious meals for your enjoyment! Antonio's hobby is olive oil and wine making -18 varieties - including the lovely house wines and a dessert wine, the latter complimentary. The dessert wine takes 3 years to make and uses double the quantity of grapes. "You won't make any money on this one" he says! It is very agreeable! Both evenings the restaurant was packed with happy diners. Antonio was kept very busy, I can say, but this seemed to agree with him! The evening was topped of by complimentary grappa. Lovely place, delicious food, and great host.

Brilliantly simple Dalmatian tavern as it should be! Many locals eat here throughout the year so it’s a perfect place to hear about local politics and gossips. Daily menu changes according to the season and local offer. Fresh, tasty and uncomplicated food. For lunch (or brunch –
We have now visited Konoba Kalalarga about 5 times during the 3 times we've been in Makarska.
We're always served good, fresh food with interesting flavour combinations. The staff is great and sometimes you can get an extra treat after he meal.
We've had donkey (yes, donkey) served with gnocci and sea bass, which were both great. For starters we've had smoked fish and squid salad - both delicious!
We recommend to book in advance.

Huge restaurant with very comfortable tables & large tables so you feel comfortable not all squashed in. The menu is extensive- huge & caters for everyone. The wine list was again extensive with a lot of Croatian wine which we are absolutely loving.
We shared the fish ravioli for entree with was excellent , full of flavour with chunks of fish. I had the scampi as main & they put a bib on me .
The wine was outstanding.
We had pavlova for dessert which we shared - don't share it's so good get your own!!

Where to start..
We were there to find new experience and we found it. Our waiter was extraordinary. He recommend us wine, and we definitely enjoyed it. Food was colorfull and taste was something special. I really liked how they combinated many flavors of Dalmatia in one dish. High recommendation to go there, and one tip..just ask waiter to guide you, no regrets.. belive me !

Recommended & booked by our hotel for dinner & had very good TA reviews so all seemed well upon arrival... the decor of the restaurant is very tasteful, the menu was presented promptly & a pleasant enough fella came over to to make some wine suggestions which was fine, reasonably priced & acceptable - the problem was the waiter who was serving us food seemed preoccupied with locals on nearby tables - the food was OK not outstanding, but after clearing our plates we waited another 30mins without any further contact - no more wine or a dessert was offered whilst he over fussed on adjacent tables, so paid the bill & left feeling a little underwhelmed...

We eat at Ankora most of the time when we are in Makarska and on the beach for lunch (only ate there once or twice for dinner). They have a great lunch menu and combinations. Nice and fresh food with good plentiful portions. Waiters are most of the time extremely nice.
