It's been two years since my last visit here. Stopped in to get a sandwich and visit with the always gregarious and helpful owner Mark Fortin. I tried the Cuban sandwich which was deelish. In fact, it was so good that I came back later for a second one before driving up to Bar Harbor. This place has a well stocked Wine Shop and Mark can help you find the right wine for any occasion. He now has an in-house butcher with a nice selection of steaks, tips, and sausage. He also gets fresh fish so check out the Facebook page for when it arrives. Always great food with friendly and helpful service. You won't be disappointed.
Under a new owner we are now offering handmade pizzas, gluten free buns and all the classics we've had in the past. Come visit to try our pizza and meet our great new staff!
This place is adjacent to Mainely Custard, which has some pretty awesome desserts. Unfortunately, the awesome does not extend to Classic Cookout. I ordered a hamburger, thinking "cookout" was equivalent to "grilled." Nope: I got a gray steamed burger patty on a white roll. It was barely edible -- I was done after a bite, but my husband, the human garbage can, finished it. Do yourself a favor--get a custard from Mainely Custard and be on your way.

We went to Petrilloâs last week while we were in Freeport. Sometimes Iâm hesitant in ordering Italian food out. I cook Italian often, and so I compare my food to the restaurants ( especially meatballs and lasagna) and I can be very hard on the restaurant. I am often disappointed. This particular evening I was hesitant and told my husband to just stick with pizza. We decided on a buffalo chicken pie. Great crust, lots of chicken, spicy enough and piping hot...the way we like it. It was pretty good. The waitress was nice and the pie came to the table pretty quick. As we were waiting, other customers were getting their meals and everything looked and smelled great. I was sorry I played it safe. Next visit I wonât,Help Kbeens Thank you for reviewing us. Family owned, home cooking. A diverse menu of sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza, etc. I had the gyros sandwich, my companions had souvlaki, a Greek Salad and a meatball sandwich. All were delicious and portions are large. Prices are good and service is quick and friendly. This is a great option in Freeport, although away from downtown it offers more reasonable prices and a parking lot. Definitely worth a visit.

The breakfast sandwich is big and very tasty with egg, bacon and cheese on awesome bread and grilled. Definitely 10/10. Bard coffee is excellent, and Holy Donuts and treats from Standard Bakery arrive at 9 each morning. Sandwiches also made here, but we were not there at lunch to try!! If you are in the area, don't miss this gem. Also, Ottos Pizza found in rear of the store for later on!

Since 2009 when we opened our first slice shop on Congress Street in downtown Portland, we've been striving to elevate the pizza experience. It starts with the ingredients - high quality, local when possible - and the toppings - creative and comforting. M
The pizza choices are unusual here (butternut squash with ricotta and cranberry, chicken with roasted pears, etc.). Alright, we're game. We tried the mashed potato, bacon and scallion and it was really good. Crust was great.Caesar salad is a mix of romaine and kale with way too much kale. Servers are on the young and inexperienced side. Friendly, but not very professional. Our server got part of our order wrong and rather than just correct it he told us that he brought us what we ordered. Um, actually, no. We did not order what you brought because of a food allergy. Not worth arguing over so we ate the dish and picked out the offending item. But that's not how you respond to an error in an order.Outdoor patio is nice.

I have toi be honest, this is not my favorite Pats Pizza. This is a very open dining room that is very bright and loud. Service was nice but felt a little rushed. Must be a great local hang out as it was packed on a Saturday in the middle of the afternoon.
