It's been a while since we've visited this wonderful place. Being "Snowbirds" we head south for the winter. We were happy to find that nothing has changed during our absence. We were seated immediately and our waitress, Sarah, took our drinks order right away and gave us enough time to decide on our dinner selection. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable & fast. A great waitress really makes the dining experience so much more enjoyable. I had the salmon with the most delicious brown rice I've had to date. My wife had-- what she described as--the best Greek salad she's ever had. Sam Summer was on sale to boot. Needless to say that we were elated to find that place is still worth the drive over from Sebago Lake. Also, if you choose, you can dine outside.

We had the cheese burger , fried mushrooms, French fries , onion rings and the veal Parmesan sandwich , All were well above average including the veal which I am pretty picky about. The service was exceptional especially for a pizza joint , I will return often when in the area.

To start, my husband and friends and I have been Bay Haven customers for years & years. We come here several times a year and have eaten basically anything and everything on the menu. We had heard that there was an increase in prices, decrease in portions and quality since the new owners took over but we wanted to judge for ourselves and give it a try. Unfortunately what we had heard was true. The lobster stew is now served in a tiny mug and costs $2 more and was basically watered down skim milk or something, barely edible. The baked stuffed potato was bland, the bread is completely different...hard rolls instead of the fresh baked loaves they were famous for. Every single item has increased at least 20 percent in cost, and while the defense might be that food prices have increased, that just isn't true. Money was well spent with the renovation, but there is a good reason why the lines and wait times have gone down at this place. Too bad, it was a great place. We won't be back.

We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. The service was excellent and the food less so. We asked if the rye bread had seeds and we were told no yet there were plenty of seeds in the bread but no big deal . The corned beef was very salty but the portions were generous. Based on the service at the bar I would return and give the food another shot .
