Even though we didnât have a reservation, we were able to get a table very quickly. After a dinner of amazing lamb shanks, we ordered tiramisu to share for dessert. Our waitress brought it with a candle, and I was serenaded with âhappy birthday!â It was a wonderful way to celebrate my special day!

All too often, restaurants at 'institutions' (museums, botanical gardens) are afterthoughts; operated with a captive audience in mind. Not the Kitchen Garden Cafe. Somebody thought this through, and the result is an establishment where you want to linger. Service as friendly and unhurried; the food was delectable. Oh, and the view overlooking the gardens is spectacular.

Staff and food good . View outstanding . Restaurant does close early would like longer hours. Only restaurant in area. Would recommend all entrees tried very good. Not pushy does not rush you through your meal can relax and enjoy wine and view. Try to set reservation for sunset the view is breath taking.
