Authentically delicious food and drinks made fresh to order daily. Art and furnishings handcrafted in Mexico. For family, friends and community, the fiesta starts here. It's like being in Mexico without getting on a plane.
Our oldest daughter had her University of Maine orientation last Monday so we were there with another couple. This must be one of the older Margaritas because it seemed a bit rundown. As we walked in, there was a sign on the host podium that read, âPlease wait to be seated.â So we did. The place wasnât busy at all, but after a minute or two, a young man came by and sounded exasperated as he told us we could seat ourselves anywhere on the first floor. Our waitress was a pleasant girl. We just got 5 drinks and spent the time talking. $57. A bit pricey. The father in the other couple said the food was great when he used to eat here as a college student.Hi Rich - Thanks for taking the time to write! We're so happy you chose Margaritas while visiting UMO. We can't wait to see you again, next time you're up.

The poblano cream sauce appetizer is by far one of the best that we have had. Other menu items ordered: downeast special, enchilada Suiza, Miguelâs wet burrito. Followed by dessert. When we make our way back into town, we will stop to eat! Thank you very much! Yes, the poblano cream sauce has morphed into a monster seller here at Miguel's and if you've ever had it you will understand why! We appreciate your business and kind words and we very much look forward to seeing you again!
Where to eat Mexican food in Orono: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Went there on the recommendation of someone who I didnât even know suggested it because our favorite Mexican restaurant in Orono was being remodeled. Thought it sounded good and we felt like an adventure. Well, we were not disappointed. We were so pleasantly surprised. Very authentic and the most congenital staff. Also, great Margheritas. Mine was so large that I half expected to see goldfish in it. But there were no gold fish in the first or second one. If you like good size servings, you wonât be disappointed. A return visit is very likely.

Popped in to meet a friend for a drink. The bartender was very nice and the restaurant was nice and clean. We shared the southwestern egg rolls and they were very good. Bar crowd is a bit on the older side which means it isnât super loud!
