Select a different restaurant. We visited this restaurant based on a suggestion from our hotel staff. We ordered pasta and meatloaf. It tool quite awhile and when the waitress brought out the pasta, she informed us that lasagna had been plated instead of meatloaf and that it would take a few minutes to fix the meatloaf so one of us was eating and one was waiting for the correct entree. It took 13 minutes to get the meatloaf. Our whole dinner experience was ruined.

With very friendly staff, and good eats, The Offshore Restaurant is a good place to get breakfast on a cool October morning. Coffee keeps flowing, without having to patiently wait. Also serving lunch and dinner. Most guests for breakfast local.

Silly us, we went for a sunset view dinner but the sun set behind us. Be smarter than us. Had mac n cheese w/lobster and it was good but not stellar (too runny for my preference). Good wine, wonderful service and decent prices. We went early and even made a reservation which at that early hour wasn't necessary. I'd go there again!

Located on Camden Harbor next to the public landing, serving lunch and dinner. Enjoy our comfortable warm inside seating with two fireplaces or our outside seating, only feet from the harbor and schooners with panoramic views of Camden Harbor.
Occupying a prime spot on the lovely Camden waterfront, Peter Ott offers a a broad menu that satisfies. Obviously, there is plenty of fish, which is well prepared. But there is also lots of non-fish choices that worked just as well. Add in friendly service and a decent wine and beer list, and you have a very enjoyable lunch.

First impressions of this busy seafood restaurant were good. Great buzz and lots of atmosphere. But we were underwhelmed with the food. My oysters were the smallest I have seen anywhere. The sauce with my wifeâs moules was insipid. All in all it wasnât value for money or a great gastronomic experience.

With breakfast being offered all day I order blueberry pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were filled with delicious blueberries but the bacon was way over cooked to the point it tasted like hard tack

Open on Sunday evening, this place seemed an obvious choice and we were delighted with our meal.Located in a small road just near the town centre, there is some limited parking as well as outside seating (but no water view). The menu is really interesting, the chef has clearly put a lot of thought into producing interesting dishes. My wife loved the lobster ravioli as her main course, and my cod with pasta was well seasoned with herbs and spices. One pleasing thing about this restaurant was the table water. Weâve been travelling through New England for the past 5 days, and this is the first time the (free) table water had been filtered and didnât taste of chlorine! The staff were very good, knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The price was on the âhigh sideâ but not a complete surprise in such a charming and popular location.Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Butter poached Maine lobster over angel hair, Pistachio Crusted Lamb chops, Seared Diver Scallops and Grilled Salmon Nicoise are just a sample of what diners might experience at the Hartstone Inn. Steps from Camden harbor, Fodor's considers the Hartstone
Top notch menu and staff. No wonder rated #1 in Camden. We had the seafood sampler as starter followed by the wild rice crusted haddock - both were simply outstanding. Their limited menu means that everything is done just right. The chef/owner, Michael Salmon, came out and asked us how we enjoyed the meal - such a nice, personal touch. We responded affirmatively and enthusiastically. Don't miss this one!!Wow! Thank you Charles, I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your dinner with us. Hope to see you again soon.

Casual Fine Dining with a Wood Fired Grill & Raw Bar. 18 Central appeals to all ages and all types of occasions.
I don't know what anyone could say about this restaurant that isn't positive? The food is is excellent, and not outrageously priced for a fine dining restaurant in Camden, ME during the high season. But, bring you wallet or credit card. My wife and I shared the broiled oysters, that is a new menu item. Delicious! I ordered the Hanger Steak that was very good. My wife had the BBQ chicken that was very good as well. The only negatives were the dry blueberry dessert, and the wait to be seated and served, even though we had reservations. But, would come again, and recommend anyone in the area to give it a try.
