The Tugboat was terrible. I was expecting much more. The ambiance and service was outstanding but the food was a disapointment. The clam chowder was watery like a cup of milk with hardly any clams. The swordfish was soft and mushy. For the food I do not recommend. For the ambiance l do reccomend. Rating... Fair

Casual coastal dining at its finest; from burgers, fries, and shakes, to classic Maine fare, there is something on the menu for everyone. So, grab your crew and head on over to Cozyâs for lunch and dinner throughout the season; open 7 days a week.
This used to be Oliver's, a relatively upscale lobster/crab roll restaurant overlooking beautiful Cozy Harbor. The facilities and the view haven't changed but the food definitely has. Hamburgers and hot dogs are now featured, but one of our old favorites, fish tacos, are still on the menu, so we ordered that. But what my wife and I and our out of-state guest got (on our recomendation) were very small and dry rolls filled mostly with coleslaw burying a tiny piece of unidentified fish. Not even a leaf of lettuce as a garnish! There are just-as-good views and much better fare nearby. The only positive food element was an excellent coffee milkshake, but that's not usually a dinner component.

Harborside Tavern's reflects hip sensibility while also paying tribute to Boothbay's storied past. The restaurant offers the choice to observe a gorgeous harbor view on the enclosed deck, as well as a full dining room with table and booth seating.
Great choice for some Maine favorites along with a number of other tasty choices. We enjoyed shrimp and grits with a lovely tomato relish, and salmon over sweet pea risotto. Entire staff is efficient, friendly, seem to enjoy being there. Pretty setting on the harbor.

*Kaler's is currently closed for the season. We'll see you in 2020!" Located right in the center of town, Kalerâs cheerful staff will be waiting to seat you. We offer harborside dining in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Our menu offers everything from
We have visited Kalers several times over the years and always look forward to a return visit. We stopped by for lunch during a recent stay. We sat at the bar & enjoyed a couple of beers but our food took forever and the mussels arrived. We also had the crab dip which was great. We will visit again as we love the atmosphere and friendly staff- just an off day.

We were here on a Sunday night. Sat outside on the top deck that overlooks the harbor, beautiful view. The waitstaff was attentive, helpful. We ordered a beer and both of us had the Risotto dish with lobster, scalops and shrimp, the bowl was huge, flavorful and had shaved parmesan reggiano on top, to die for. So big I couldn't finish mine. Cost was what it should be for the seafood dish. We'd go back.

A piece of authentic Maine history, The Thistle Inn still stands as a place to gather and celebrate what makes life all the more worth living: great food, great company, and a home away from home. Originally built in 1861 for a prominent sea captain, our
The food at the Thistle Inn is positively top notch, and the service is excellent. It was so good that we ate there a second night and were not disappointed. We highly recommend you give it a try it. Excellent service and wonderfully delicious food.

Enjoy seasonal foods of Maine, harvested at their peak, in a casual coastal setting. The Pub offers locally sourced meats, freshly caught Maine lobster and seafood, and farm stand produce. Away from the crowds and close to the sea, join us in The Pub or d
Really not fine dining . Food was above average but no table cloths and lots of kids running around. We were on time for our reservation but had to wait. We felt rushed. Noisy..Little Village Bistro in Wiscasset or Ports of Italy in Boothbay Harbor are better...Not worth the long ride.Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like there might have been a misconception of what to expect from our restaurant, which is a casual pub in a family-friendly resort. While our food does convey a feeling of "fine dining", we don't use tablecloths because we don't want to cover up our beautiful hand-made wooden farm tables. We do offer linen napkins and exceptional service on top of one of the best views in the Midcoast. By the way, I agree that Little Village Bistro and Ports of Italy are amazing restaurants....but neither one can boast our ocean view!

Been frequenting Robinson's for years and have seldom been disappointed. Service is always prompt and efficient, the food is always hot and delicious and portions are extremely generous. Really look forward to seeing our favorite server who excels in all aspects of her customer service skills. Highly recommend.

View was great. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and the service was terrible. Waitress totally indifferent. Had lobster fries that were more like lobster flavored batter, tasteless haddock chowder, and an under cooked flatbread pizza. Can forgive a bad meal but not the horrible service. Never again!

We sat on the deck, one of the best harbor views. I had the shrimp dinner and my husband had the warm shrimp roll. Both were excellent. Service started a little slow but was very good.
