We stopped in after our flight arrived and before we started driving onto our vacation destination. It was 2 PM and the hostess told us there would be a 10 minute wait. Maybe a shift change was happening? When we were seated it took a little time for our waitress to appear. We asked for water. It took her a little time to return with our water. She was very nice just not going anywhere fast. When we did receive our food it was warm and presented well. Based on the service slowness I am not sure we would return. Especially if we were going to dine at a busy time. Who knows how long it might take.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Dinner on a Thursday night - 2 people. First impression was that the place was crowded and the twangy country music was blaring. Seated quickly. This place can handle a crowd and they turn over the tables fast. Our server appeared quickly and spent 5 minutes upselling drinks and apps. When she finally took a breath, I asked for a few minutes to read the menu. It took a while for her to come back, but when she did, we ordered 2 drinks, 2 meals and an app while she was doing her continuous upselling. The app arrived quickly - delivered by a runner, who, when I asked her for plates, responded that I would need to talk to my server. So I guess that was a No!Food was OK and cooked as requested. Took a while to get the check and by then our heads were throbbing from the music and frenetic buzz of the place. The Longhorn Steak House down the road is a much better option.

We were driving route 1 to Ogunquit when we stopped at this little gem. Todayâs special was Lobster Rolls. They were 13.99 and were huge! They were delicious and the owners were so polite and accommodating! Great experience!

We are modern day homesteaders...we are vibrant, colorful, outgoing and modern. We work hard...finding a purpose and pride in our professional life, but love to let loose and smell the roses at every moment possible. Whether it's on the farm, behind the w
I recently stayed at the hotel and didn't have time to find a place to eat. The smoked seafood chowder was great. If you like creamy seafood chowders this is a must have. You will not be disappointed. I also had the pizza and really enjoyed it. Normally I wouldn't recommend getting pizza in Maine but this was actually very good. Although, I do wish I tried the lobster roll...will need to be next time. The service was great and I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening to a mostly empty restaurant. Service was OK and the restaurant was clean with ample parking. Unfortunately the food was pretty mediocre. We had never had burnt ends and really excited to try this dish....meh. Not carmelized at all and kind of like warmed up brisket with some sauce. Our entrees were just as underwhelming. I think its their rub or spice choice but the overall flavor was just not good and every sauce on the table was terrible. All of this just made the cost of the meal feel really unjustified and way overpriced. The best thing about our food was the corn bread. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Just an old lobster shack located on the side of the road. nothing special except we have the freshest lobster and clams delivered daily . you pick em and well cook em . see web site for other items sorry only seafood
If you are looking for a fresh lobster roll with nothing but lobster, this is the place to go. We started with the fish chowder, which was very tasty, but could have been hotter. The lobster rolls were packed with chunks of lobster and absolutely delicious. We plan to go back soon, but will have to wait as they are closing for the season.

We had dinner here following recommendations on trip advisor. Food (steamers and lobster rolls) were delicious plus unique margaritas were perfect. Waitstaff was excellent and you canât beat the location for a true Maine experience. Hint: arrive before 5:30 to avoid long wait.

We had lunch one day and dinner the next with two kids and two thirsty adults and both visits were positively enjoyable with excellent service and quality food. I recommend the garden quesadillas with pulled chicken for lunch and baked haddock for dinner. The burgers and chicken tenders went down well with the kids. Their brews were refreshing and many choices available.

We had a large order that we had preordered to accommodate 10 people. The staff was incredibly helpful in their suggestions and did a great job with suggesting what to order. We got lobsters, steamed clams, oysters, corn, shrimp, and Caesar salads. Everything was freshly cooked and well packed for pickup. They included small containers of butter for the clams and lobsters. Everything was delicious and easy. I will definitely be back!!
