Been coming here since 62â. Love the location right on the lake. Come down in your boat, tie up, grab your pizza, sandwich, or whatever.Local new owners are taking business to the next level. Beer, liquor, wine, groceries, new meat department and ice cream cones, etc. Employees are the best.

Good reasonably-priced family restaurant. Friendly staff.
The wait staff was friendly, customers were friendly, the food was good. Average wait time. Very clean. The waitress asked if we would like bread and what type, the response was yes, a mix. The bread never arrived.

We were there for Kara-yucky on Thursday night. What a blast! Our waitress kept the drinks flowing and the food coming. We had wings, steak tips and taters, salads, burgers, and a chicken sandwich with sweet tater fries. All was very good. The atmosphere was fun and the other patrons were, too. It was crowded, but we didn't feel like sardines. We'll definitely be back for another go-round of 'yucky'.

Great food and great prices. You don't have to dress up to go here, which people often think they need to, it's laid back atmosphere. The chicken cordon bleu is big enough to share! Love their scallops & scalloped potatoes!! Highly recommend.

While up in the Oxford Maine area, we were looking for a good and reasonably priced restaurant . We decided to eat breakfast at Daddy O's. The food was great, the waitresses were outstanding and the atmosphere terrific. It takes you back to the 60's. It is just a great place to go. The address is 1570 Main St., Oxford, Me. The owners, the Ouellete family made sure you felt welcome and the other customers made you feel right at home. A great and rare place in this day and age. There is at least one number plate set up on the walls from every state. Try it you will not be disappointed!

My son and I enjoyed all the dishes we ate here. Tasty and fresh. Compared to big city barbecues, this lacks the variety on the menu and the variety of sauces. But it was much better than I expected in rural Maine. I would go there again when I am in the area. Good service, too! Fries were excellent. Chicken moist.

My wife and I enjoyed the drinks and food. The baked beans were good not great, the rest of the food was excellent. The service was very good, pleasant and attentive. Small menu for drinks and food, but very enjoyable. I will return and recommend to my friends.

A hub of the historic village of Norway, ME. Fresh, local food, great coffee/espresso drinks, and a growing wine/beer list. Free WiFi.
Cafe Nomad is always a busy place for breakfast and lunch, but they are also open on Friday nights, and if you don't mind busing your supper, you get a wonderful meal. I had absolutely delicious salmon on jasmine rice with amazing pineapple salsa and mixed greens along with great local beer for a very reasonable price.

There was an excellent article written in the Advertiser Democrat on Dec 16th, 2010 with background, descriptions and pictures. This could become one of the best restaurants is Maine...no kidding. Excellent menu, outstanding food, and reasonable prices =
Every year, for our wedding anniversary, we take friends out to a fancy dinner. This year we made a return visit to 76 Pleasant Street to celebrate our 36th. As always, the ambiance, service, food and presentation were impeccable. We started with four different appetizers, the wife returned to her 'best anywhere' Crabcakes, I tried the Roasted Beet Salad (with awesome crunchy pistachios) & our guests feasted on the Iceburg Wedge with tomato & bacon and (for the first time) Escargot, which was very well received. For the main course, my wife had the Roasted Sherry Duck, which was done perfectly, her guest loved on the Pineapple Chutney Pork Tenderloin. My guest & I both had the most tender Seared Scallops with prosciutto & brown butter. The scallops were adorned with a wafer of seared cheese, which is appealing enough to be offered as an appetizer (hint, hint...)We were surprised with small individual dessert presentations of Baked Alaska with beautiful heart shaped strawberry glaze for our anniversary, but then could not resist ordering and sharing the lemon custard cake and flourless chocolate cake, both of which were rich without being overpowering. Add to that very good coffee to cap off a wonderful evening. We had 7PM reservations, and enjoyed a relaxing meal, leaving right at 9PM, without any feeling of being rushed. Like I said, perfect again... 76 Pleasant Street delivers every time. Thank You!
