I was looking for a place open late as my usual pizza store had closed. This was the only place open in the area, so I thought i'd give it a try. Red flag no.1..I walk in the door & all the staff are Indians. Indians should stick to cooking Indian food as they have no idea how to make a pizza. Red flag no.2...I ask how they make their pizza dough as that is an easy test to see how passionate a pizzeria is about making pizza. The guy tells me he has a "unique recipe" and "no one else around has this recipe" and divulges it has honey and sugar added. WTF??? Was this guy working for McDonalds before? The pizza base as predicted was dry and had no taste, except for the sickly sweet sugar and honey. And the ingredients tasted like they'd come out of a can. Pizza Hut and Dominos are as low as it goes as far as pizza dives go...and this place fits right in. Red flag no.3...no medium pizzas, which meant I had to opt for a large instead which cost almost $20 and was way too much for me due to the WAY too thick and sugary base. Hands down of the last 5 pizza shops i've eaten at (including La Porchetta), this is the worst by far. My advice to the owners? Consider opening an Indian take away restaurant. Obviously I wont be back.
