We are, particularly my girlfriend, big fans of pho. We are locals but never pass on this street so we discovered it here on TA.We found the soup so-so. Actually, my girlfriend got a diarrhea from it. It is also a bit smaller and a bit more expensive than our usual spot in Montreal.Note that they are not open all day. They close between lunch and dinner. Maybe we"ll give it another try.

While driving through the Eastern Townships we stopped in Magog for lunch and we chose the Sushi Shop. We ordered off the menu and were leased with the California rolls and chicken dish. The seating is varied and comfortable. The decor is modern and nice. We would eat here again as the food was fresh and tasty.

For some reason I was expecting Chinese food (the owners of the hotel are Chinese and the sign outside is written in Chinese). But this is not Chinese food, it is general Asian cuisine that has been westernized.First giveaway, no chopsticks. Second giveaway, you order your own meal and not dishes as you would in a Chinese restaurant.The food was very plain although the portions were generous. Not as tasty as you would expect Asian food to be. The restaurant itself has no atmosphere and rather cold environment. I don't even recall a single piece of Asian decoration. Oh, I think that the napkins are red.Not much choice when it comes to Asian food in Magog so this is ok if you have a craving for this type of cuisine. Not as good as the Vietnamese restaurant that used to be on Principale street.I stretched myself to give it 3 stars. Maybe 2.5 would be more accurate.
