We were here only one night. The hotel is in the countryside by a golf course and race track. Dinner was very good and Breakfast was a buffet. Our group was served in a private dining area so not a true review of the hotel's dining room options. Beds were comfortable and all our party was on the first floor of this two story building.

We've stayed here more times than I can recall in the last twenty years or so. With changing management it's variously got better and worse over the years. Lately it's run by a couple who are friendly & helpful; if a little weird, in a 'local' kind of way. Akin to characters from BBC2's 'A League of Gentlemen' series! We stayed here several times in summer 2017 while using the circuit. The rooms are a good size, well equipped, with comfortable beds and decent showers. Breakfast is a typically French fare of bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, spreads, cold meats, cheese, cereals, plus decent coffee and juice. There is a bar but we didn't use it. Perfectly placed for the circuit, Nevers town is about 20-25 mins drive north of the hotel.

Delightful rural farm surrounded by the lovely Burgundy countryside. We have a large converted grange offering 5 pretty cosy rooms, large dining room and comfortable lounge, swimming pool and sunny terrace. Breakfast is included and we offer simple Tables d'hotes on request. We are 5kms from the famous circuit de Magny Cours so perfect for race days and events. The pretty town of Nevers is near by, the Loire, Sancerre. We are located just off the A77.
We recently stayed two nights at Isabel and David’s beautifully converted Burgundy farm and had a most enjoyable time. After a warm welcome, we were given a tour of the house and shown to our rooms. Which are very nicely decorated, clean, airy, spacious and with nice views. After a refreshing dive in the pool, it was time for our daughter’s to meet and play with Isabel and David’s two dogs. And what a time they had! In the evening, we had the pleasure of enjoying our host’s fabulous dinner table, which we highly recommend. We were fortunate in that there was plenty of time for conversation with our hosts, both in English and French. After a long sleep, with just the gentle sounds of the country side, and breakfast on the terrace, it was off to the race tracks and a round of karting. The charming country side and quaint neighbouring towns and villages offer plenty of opportunities to go exploring for young and old. Our hosts were very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. Including dinner at a nearby lake and fun park tailored for young children. To our hosts: many thanks for the warm hospitality and great conversations. We had the best of times and will certainly return! Willem and Nicole Six

Probably the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed in: the room (and the rest of the hotel) was not cleaned properly, mould at the bath, dirty stains on the carpets, wifi not working, dinner at restaurant average, overprices and slow 'service'. No-one at the reception to complain unless at check-out where the lady needed 1/2 hour to make a correct invoice. We did not take the breakfast and were glad to get away.

Very nice B&B, with spacious rooms, a magical atmosphere & very nice staff (and not to forget the castle cat Sacha, who loves a cuddle). From the moment you arrive you feel very welcome. A must visit, and only 2 hours from Paris! Only remark, don’t go and eat in the Le Padock (racing restaurant not so far from the castle) this “kills” a bit the romance as this is a highway type of restaurant. Go to Nevers ;)
