Quintessentially Italian family restaurant in a small, pretty, village nr Corciano. The antipasti and prosecco were delicious and fairly priced. TDS operates on a small scale (7-8 tables) to high standards. The waitress was exceptionally nice. Strongly recommend.

We found this establishment on TA, as we were staying in the area we decided to go for dinner and booked. The experience was magical, as we drank our aperitif we watched a very large wild boar root across the lawn (and it wasn't yet 8pm). The bell rang for dinner and we all entered, no menu. It was the meal of the day, I am not myself a vegetarian but I love my veg, but this was another level. Also it was not expensive 50euro a head plus drinks and tip, the meal was 4 courses, all of which were tasty and beautifully prepared. Would definitely go back. The drive up is not for the faint hearted as it is on a 'white road', but just take it slowly. Wonderful

Absolutely best beef ever, with very modern and uncommon style of serving. Also the wines are very, very good, and strong. The restaurant is also very nice and the waiter/owner very helpful. But cannot speak English, you have to practise the Italian :o)Make a reservation in advance. They are closed on Mondays.Defenitely the best beef tartar and beef sashimi ever.

In Passignano on a Monday. Many restaurants have their closing day on Monday. So we were kind of winging our choice. Nice view of the lake. Nice linen tablecloths. Pretty place. There were five of us and we were all very happy with our food. Panzanella with scampi, gnocchi a sagrantino, grilled octopus, grilled orate with potatoes and beans. All nicely presented and well prepared. Service was fun. If I had a complaint it is a bit overpriced and the portions are a bit small. I would, and will, go back.

The service was surely cordial and surely capable of managing an important issue.Believe it or not, one can still find a restaurant with a rather decent wine list without any year attached to its wine selection.... Two options: 1) the motivation is to rob the consumer because any year goes for the established set price or 2) it is to rob the consumer by its ignorance not understanding that the price of a wine is primarily set by its year, and of course its source as winery, region....which a 1ier grand cru, even from a bad year remains an amazing wine. The conclusion is simply unacceptable and even if the food is the best in the world it only deserves a one ball rating. The owner knows very well what he is doing and I have no respect for his kitchen under such a strategy in running his restaurant.Furthermore, the tartar was good, the rest of the food more than acceptable nothing to rave about.Lastly, 6 Euros for two covers for stale bread, again complying with the strategy of robbing the customers kind enough to distribute his or her money for nothing. It is simply not acceptable at all.

The restaurant is located in the hotel where we stayed for a week, which was very convenient. We had a dinner here twice, and the food was very good on both occasions. The best deal is to choose from a two-course or three-course meal. There are two menus (fish and meat) and you can mix your choice as you like. The service was very friendly, but there was a big delay (more than an hour) in serving the food for most of the restaurant on the second night. Other than that, everything was very good, and we really enjoyed our evenings here.Dear guests, thank you very much for your positive feedback! We sincerely hope to see you soon back here at Kursaal! Kind regards, Hotel Kursaal Bruno, Anne and all the staff

What a great and lucky find this restaurant was when I stopped for lunch in June 2018. The location on the Lake is beautiful and there is seating inside and outside. There were multiple dishes already prepared for a fast-service lunch and the highlight of the restaurant was the huge wood oven that was burning what looked like a whole tree trunk at the time I entered. The oven is used to make the fresh pizza and bread which was delicious. I had the lake fish seasoned with fresh rosemary and it was delicious too. The service was warm and friendly, the food immediately available and perfect, the location overlooking the Lake could not have been better. There was also a steady flow of local people which is always the sign of a good restaurant. What a great way to spend a relaxing lunch time.

We selected Morganâs from a number of options on the lakeside road in Passignano by the wonderful odours from the kitchen. There is an extensive menu to choose from with fish options prominently featured. The portions were generous and the quality and freshness of the food was excellent There is an Italian saying âThe eye must have its shareâ and the presentation certainly lived up the that statement. My spaghetti vongole was silky smooth and well seasoned. Gluten free options are available and requests for them are accepted without a problem. We were looked after by Simona who was polite, friendly and efficient. We had a very tasty and relaxing lunch and would readily return to the restaurant on future visits to the town.

Just outside of Magione, along the lakeshore between San Savino and San Feliciano.....A nice drive from Perugia.
I write this review after having had time to calm down following disgusting service at this restaurant. This was simply the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, and as I said in the title, this was just because we were not Italian, which is sad and a poor reflection on this place, bordering on being racist. My wife and I love Italy and have traveled extensively throughout the country, always finding lovely villages and friendly people. So much so that this year we bought a house in Umbria, such is our love for the culture and scenery. This provides context for what comes next. This place looks really nice from the outside and we were really looking forward to the evening meal, we were shown to our table by a friendly host and then after a few minutes a waiter walked past and dropped some menus on our table without evening speaking to us. He then proceeded to talk to a range of other tables. After a while he came back and took our order. A few minutes later our starters and wine arrived and all was going well. The food was okay and other people around looked to have some really good sea food. Da Massimo was busy but not overly so.Following on from this, some minutes passed were my wife and i talked and observed many people being served, for example the people next to us were served courses, the people on our other side who arrived after us were served two courses and then a group of younger Italians arrived and were served as well.At this point we asked the waiter for an update and he just walked straight past our table, totally ignoring us. When we came back we asked him again for an update and he muttered something that we could not understand, shrugged his shoulders and walked off. We waited a little longer and he served some more people around us, again ignoring us.We then decided to cut our losses and asked for the bill, the manager said that we had not finished and we tried our best to explain the delay. He then went to the waiter and came back and said that we had only been waiting for 20 minutes and that there was no problem. Finally he took the main course off the bill, took our money and walked off.Terrible service and terrible attitudes from all involved.Avoid this place at all costs if your are a tourist or not from Italy, as you this service and treatment was reserved just for us as none Italians. The whole evening was ruined by this terrible place

This pizza restaurant is set at the edge of the Trasimeno Lake just on the outskirts of St Feliciano - so the views and sunset are stunning. It was busy from about 7.30 so you need to book. Service was good, very friendly and child friendly.Food was good - we had a couple of starters and four pizzas which everyone enjoyed and with a bottle of wine and a few soft drinks the bill was 70 Euros. It's not haute cuisine - but it's good food, served well for a good price in a good setting. Perfect for those hot evenings. If you're looking for a great pizza restaurant - I'd recommend this wholeheartedly.
