An absolutely fantastic eatery in Puerto Maldonado. During a three-night stay, we ate dinner twice and breakfast once, and would have had every meal there if we found it earlier! Forego the âincluded breakfastâ at your hotel and come here.Fantastic food quality: local, organic, many gluten-free options. Compostable straws, no plastic. English menu. And unbelievably inexpensive. It has a nice, high location overlooking the center town square, which makes it particularly fun for nighttime cocktails as you watch the areaâs nightlife pass by. Just fyi, you have to climb several flights of stairs to get there.Really enjoyed the different varieties of pisco sour here.Hats off to Juan for brining a fantastic eatery and bar to this town.

Comme here for a healthy dessert and found that fruit is very fresh, they got a lot of topping. But the flavor needs to be improved a little bit.

We were a little surprised that the "Bistro" specialty was American Style hamburgers. While the staff speaks no English, they were patient as we decided what we wanted. You order downstairs, then head upstairs to wait for your order (both food and the freshly prepared juices). They will bring it to you - dont worry about listening for an order number. We were handed a remote control as we ascended the steps. Apparently, since we were the only ones there at that time, the remote controlled the air conditioning (while not necessary at the time), this was the only place we had seen that had A/C. The hamburgers were very nicely prepared (we had ours cooked well since we were unsure how the raw meat had been handled) and delivered on wooden planks.

I went here with my fiancé for wings. The order came and it was 5 skimpy wings a few potatoes and small salad. The salad came with dressing which it did not state on the menu. The wings were ok but certainly did not fill my stomach and when I asked if I could order just wings the response was no. I would have to order another meal consisting of five wings/salad/potatoes but they could give me just the wings lol. The beer was overpriced but it did look like they had a nice bar so maybe it is more for mixed drinks than food.
