Tried this place for the first time and ordered the Chicken.. it needed seasoning. Couldn't/didn't finish it for lack of flavor. The sides were good.(Veggie Cass and Mac and Cheese) The German Chocolate cake was Awesome! I'm willing to try again because the other items...MoreTNChic615, Thank you for the feedback. I stopped in during lunch on a Wednesday afternoon with a couple of co-workers. I'm from the New York/New Jersey area so I'm used to really good Chinese food. It's everywhere up North. I also understand that I'm in Nashville.
I ordered the Hunan Chicken lunch special which came with soup. I ordered a spring roll on the side. My wonton soup was unacceptable. It was totally different from up North. The wontons were different and the broth was bland. The spring roll was greasy.
The Hunan Chicken was good. The portion size was very satisfying. They placed a bucket of white rice on the table for everyone who needed it. There was a nice little kick to it as well. The service was very good and the prices for the lunch specials were a good bargain. In reality, I've had better.

We decided to open our first full-size scoop shop in Nashville in June, 2011 in the East Nashville neighborhood for many reasons, but mainly because the place reminded us so much of our scrappy roots. East Nashville, home to cyclists and pedestrians, families and urban farmers, artists and musicians of all stripes, and do-it-yourself bar and restaurant owners, is one of our favorites places in the country. Since we've been in East Nashville, we've been able to cultivate partnerships with folks such as Don Henry, who grows strawberries for us to make the perennial favorite Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk, as well as the good people at Yazoo Brewing Company, who supplies Yazoo Sue porter for the year-round ice cream Yazoo Sue with Rosemary Bar Nuts. There's a fantastic creative community and overall vibe throughout Nashville-especially in East Nashville.
Jeni's is a bustling ice cream shop that offers prompt, friendly service and absolutely fantastic ice cream. They offer several regularly available flavors and numerous rotating temporary flavors. I recommend the Sweet Cream with Salted Peanuts and Molasses Curd if it's available but no matter what you chose, you will have chosen wisely. Prices are on par with other upscale ice ream parlors in the area.

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Friday based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Owner Liz was there seated at one of the tables and said hello, and the friendly lady behind the counter dished up food cafeteria style. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. Everything tasted good, think southern home cooking. The menu isn't extensive but I tend to be picky and had no problem findining plenty to eat. Nothing was too strong in flavor, just lightly and simply seasoned, which I liked. Would also be good for people who like milder food. There was plenty of seating as well. Will definitely stop by here again the next time I'm in the area.

While the shopping center that Jumbo and Delicious is located in is not the most attractive building in Hendersonville, this is one of the older establishments in the city on Walton Ferry Road but has several neat eateries located in the set of buildings.
The inside is very clean and the service is very prompt and the burgers are 1/2 pound and 3/4 pound meat alone. When buns, condiments and veggies are loaded on the burger you will be well over 1 pound per burger. Their larger burgers will have the meat stuffed with your choice of cheese. The cheeses I know they have available are cheddar, White American, Yellow American, Munster, Provolone,. Pepper Jack, Bleu Cheese and others. I cannot again say enough about how large and tasty these burgers are. Then the fries and onion rings! The orders are large enough for more than one person. The fries are served crinkle cut, the onion rings are freshly battered daily and they serve some tasty sweet potato wedges as well.
They have other sandwiches like Reubens and stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches. Plus they several variety of amazing chicken wings!
We have dined in and had orders for take out and they have every item hot and fresh when you pick the food up from the window whether you will dine in or take it back to your home or office. Be sure to have plenty of napkins ready when you dive into these larger than life burgers. Also when you enter it is nice and refreshing to have Contemporary Christian Music Playing!

First this place is great, from the counter service, the family environment that works there just makes the this place a great go to place. Then you have a great selection of food items, sooo many sides to choose from and it sounds like it keeps growing. Then you get the fresh food and just let me say the mild southern spicy is too much for this country girl, I will be doing just the sprinkle heat - pinch next round. Good and juicy tenders, crinkle cut fries, mix of mayo/vinegar slaw, for 10.50 well worth it. Then the owner comes out and just talks - wants to know how it is, tells you how they do it and says there is more to try. We are coming back and telling people to come to Slow Burn, it is so worth the trip.

This, like all chain restaurants, is good but no better than any other. They are reliable places to eat but nothing unique. Nothing you can't find at the dozen other chains nearby. Very cookie cutter. Okay place to dine but not worth a special trip.

We took our daughter for a birthday lunch buffet. She loves Indian food and we are learning.
Green Chili is hidden under the I-65 and Vietnam Veterans interchange but it is worth the hunt. The host family is efficient ,friendly and professional.
We basically ate the whole buffet. All tasty. Do be careful of the hot chiles. Easy to make a hog of oneself.
We will return.

Las Maracas was very accommodating of our party of ten. They put tables together and served chips & salsa. Be aware that there are TWO Las Maracas restaurants on Gallatin- one at 1107 in Madison and the other at 2704 in Nashville. Unfortunately, two members of our party went to the wrong one! I had a delicious bowl of chicken tortilla soup which was a meal within itself; it was served with three wedges of cheese quesadilla. My husband had the skirt steak (a little tough), which was served with tortillas, beans and rice. Overall, a good value for the money.
