We had heard about Lillyâs from a previous trip but had been unable to fit it into our itinerary! Big mistake!!!The restaurant is extremely relaxing very flexible and the food is outstanding! Do try the pre meal madeira wine - dry - it is a delight. We had the calamari, octopus for starters and the filet with mushrooms and RV for mains. Each were superb and the Alvarihno wine with it made our day! We started of with some of the homemade garlic bread, and oh lord it was good. Sadly the main courses werenât that good. Hard ribs and dry chicken, everything was really good seasoned witch was sad. I dined with two other family members in September, and we enjoyed this restaurant very much. We all had seafood dishes which were fresh and wonderful. Mine was three pieces of seafood served over a butter-rich black (squid ink?) pasta and it was amazing! Anyone visiting this island should try this restaurant.

We visited here because of non existent service just down the road. Here, although only one member of staff front of house we were made immediately welcome and our drink order was taken right away. The recommended filet steak on a stone was excellent; succulent, tender and very tasty. The salmon steak and salad was OK, but this is real a meat eaters restaurant. The ambiance is a little quirky, but in keeping with the meat/western theme I guess. The steak was good value for money.

Quirky little place with interesting decor that is basically down a back alley!We were advised to order off the sharing menu, which was effectively one main and one side per person.We got some delicious garlic bread to start and ordered shrimp with lemon and garlic, chicken with soy sauce and ginger, sweet potato micas (mashed sweet potato with shredded cabbage and chorizo) and a mixed salad.The food was tasty and full of flavour, although what we ordered didnât quite compliment each other as a meal.For deserts, we ordered a lime semi frio and a chocolate semi frio, which was both very nice. The lime had a nice citrus kick to it.The staff were very friendly and our waitress spoke very good English, although the place was deserted while we were there!

Stopped by here by chance passing through Santa Cruz. We had a great meal, really reasonably priced, with swift and friendly service. The boys were happy with the food (and the free WiFi!) and my husband and I were very happy with the food, cleanliness and atmosphere. Added bonus of a complimentary glass of Madeira. This restaurant has a fabulous local feel. We tried the local fish Black Scabbard which is a mild fish taste and the steak which comes on large metal skewers and was very tender. We were lucky enough to catch a traditional local music and dance show which was fun. I do recommend popping in.
