Madaba (Arabic: مادبا; Biblical Hebrew: מֵידְבָא Meidvah) is the capital city of Madaba Governorate in central Jordan, with a population of about 60,000. It is best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, especially a large Byzantine-era mosaic map of the Holy Land. Madaba is located 30 kilometres (19 miles) south-west of the capital Amman.

No need to worry about Reading the menu here - it’s presented in English along with pictures! The dishes run the gamut from hummus to hamburgers and hot dogs. I had kabobs, which were good and presented with a large plate of fries, tomatoes, pickles, cole slaw, and carrots. I also had kunafa and Turkish coffee, which were delicious. There was zero pressure to eat and move along. Staff was pleasant but not attentive - quite a few were smoking hookah in the corner or going outside for some reason and were hard to flag down.

Nice restaurant in Madaba. We had a number of appetizers which included 3 different salads, hummus, babaganosh, Arabic bread and tomatoes with feta cheese. For lunch we had chicken and french fries followed by a rose custard dessert. Everything was tasty and service was very good. The restaurant is very quaint.

Had dinner there last night and absolutely loved the experience! Our server Hanna went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great dinning experience.
The food was awesome especially the mixed grill and the lamb. The beer and wine were also great and the views of the Mosque gorgeous! This is a must do while in Madaba!!

Food is delicious, fresh, and prices are very reasonalble...
This place is just across the street from the Church of St. George and its Mosaic Map and is the favorite place for my driver to get food to take home to his family (he is lives in Madaba). Thus on his recommendation, I got take away from there to go back to my hotel. The food is all made fresh as it is order so no cold soggy food. I got a chicken and cheese Sandwich with fries and the price was great. When we had the food in the car, it smelt like heaven. Back at the hotel, the Sandwich was hot and fresh stuffed full of chicken and cheese, tasted great (just a touch dry). The fries were nice and hot and had great flavor... I am glad I followed his advice.

The restaurant is done like old style, located at touristic street 70 Ms from st. George church (the Mosaic map church). It serves delicious Arabic and Europe food; you may enjoy smoking the hubble-bubble and using the free internet wireless.
We have stayed a couple of nights at the hotel and had good breakfast here and also eaten here our last two dinners which was very good also. The atmosphere is really nice here, staff wonderful so I recommend this place highly. Close to the all interesting places in Madaba so it is good relaxing here too after all walking.

This place is ran by locals, they have great food, the Meza is amazing and the hot dishes are great, and what makes this place special is that they make the food fresh on daily basis, moreover the prices are very reasonable and they have big portions

Although it was not one of the best restaurants that we ate in during our Jordan tour, still have to say that we had good service, decent food, a nice staff and the venue was clean.

Abbey Road Restaurant in Madaba is an old house from the late 1800s that’s been renovated but has retained its original charm & has an outdoor Terrace & pizza oven. Our menu has traditional Arabic BBQ & appetizers but also modern takes on some traditional Arabic dishes; in addition to fresh pizzas, pastas & steaks. It got its name from its location on the road leading up to St. John the Baptist Abbey. We open from 9am & hope to see you soon!
If you need delivery-this place is excellent!!! My teenage son was on a trip with his dad in Madaba and ended up in the hotel room, hungry while dad was out touring. I messaged Abby Road from S. India where I was traveling, and within 20 minutes my son was happily eating amazing pizza!!! Love your service and flexible ordering!!!
