We arrived exhausted after the tour of Machu Picchu and was grateful for a quick clean up at the neat washrooms. Food was warm and nice and the service was really nice. WE had the buffet lunch as part of the tour package. We visited in March 2012.

This is a popular place for tourists and groups. I was part of an Intrepid group and this was the place chosen by the group leader. The service was good. Most of us had the wood fired pizza which was very good. Presentation was good. Peru is a food culture country. They just seem to know what to do.

After a 3 hour hike in Machu Pichu, we craved a good pizza. Unfortunately this place did not deliver on the good part. The pizza was average at best.Our waiter however was excellent! We sat at the back of the restaurant by ourselves, opened the window and listened to the roar of the water while drinking good wine and eating average pizza.

We settled with this restaurant with their happy hour special of buy 4 at a reduced pricing. After many days enjoying Peruvian food, I was settled with something staple like a soup. I ordered the beef noodle soup and it was a full bowl with lots of string noodles. The soup was tasty but the beef was very tough. We were seated on the second floor of the restaurant over looking the train entrance to Aguas Caliente and the mountains. The view was very nice, food is ok.

Peruvian home cooking restaurant, as its name informs (Ayasca Peruvian Comfort Food). Restaurant attached to the Tierra Viva hotel. Modern and beautiful decoration.Very friendly and efficient service. Buffet by day and menu by night. We ordered good ceviches, trout and âlomo saltadoâ(strips of steak with sauté vegetebles). Good value for money.

We had a good solid meal at a good price. Three of us ordered the Aji Chicken. The other two ordered pizzas. The three of us that ordered the Aji Chicken were happy with the meal. My daughter ordered the Hawaiian pizza without ham, which was just âokâ...but thatâs to be expected because thatâs just pizza with pineapple!! We canât really blame that on the restaurant, right? Overall the service was attentive. The food was well priced for the quality. Iâd recommend eating here and would eat there again, given the opportunity.

The place is beautiful and unique. Great waiters, awesome food, and really good âCevicheâ. The only thing that I didnât enjoy was the âProfiteroles with chocolate sauceâ. Anyhow, the rest of the dishes were wonderful!

Enjoyed a wonderful group dinner. Service was very good and the dinner quite yummy. Even our vegetarian friends were happy. Recommend the trout and pork. Awkward end to the evening when manager refused two different $5 USD billsâmake sure your cash is crisp!

We were very happy to stumble upon Mapacho Craft Beer near our hotel. As beer enthusiasts from Texas, we thoroughly enjoyed the beers at this restaurant, especially the Pale Ale. The food was also great (and very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area). There was live music both times we visited the restaurant, which was neat. Giovanni was a wonderful waiter and provided excellent service.

Stopped by here for dinner before catching the train back from Aguas Calientes back to Olantaytambo. This was less busy than some of the other restaurants so we weren't sure if that meant it wasnât good or if it was more expensive. Luckily, it was neither. Service was good, prices were reasonable, and food was better than average. Highly recommend the Lomo Saltado which is served a little differently from the traditional type. It sits on a bed of quinoa instead of being served with rice and humongous fries. The Alpaca and Truncha ala Parilla were also quite good. You also get a nice river view while enjoying your dinner if you get a table overlooking the water. We also tried our first Cuy here. Overseasoned and nothing great. And no, it does NOT taste like chicken.Jun We are pleased to know that you were satisfied on your visit and thank you very much for your recommendation we will take it into account, we hope to see you again.
