This accommodation features a commercial restaurant that provides its guests with delicious-looking homemade meals with a touch of local recipes.

Reviewed By CuriousMindKeWarm reception from the security at the entrance to the hotel. The food was to our liking, pics shared. The sauces were well paired with the meats of choice; vegetables were crunchy, meat well spiced and nicely done. The potatoes however were under whelming Due to the slow traffic at the time we were in; the service could have been better. The swimming area is also a bit unkempt; there were towels hanged all over which were later removed. All in all; Macha Bee is well represented

Quaint quiet and simple
Reviewed By BruceMangoStayed here for three nights. Appreciated the quiet and nice garden. Small guest house with about 4 rooms upstairs. Wifi worked as did hot water. Staff pleasant and willing to help. Room for improvement on food and service but this is typical of all places in this region.

Nice Hotel for a couple of nights
Reviewed By George LI found the Garden Hotel Machakos adequate for my purposes. The price for lodging provided was in line with other alternatives. The hotel was not in top shape. There were clear signs of aging, howevrer, all functions necessary for a good nights rest were in order. Hot shower, working electrical outlets, quality mosquito netting. The restaurant was perhaps a bit on the weak side. Service was both good and poor depending on who what on duty. Food good. I think the best feature was the price was right and I could get a good night of sleep.

A Gem tucked up the shadows of the Kilimambogo
Reviewed By PMTRAV2021About 10Kilometres or so from Garissa Thika Highway sits this magnificent ranch like gateway. Though the road to the resort is a bumpy one,what you find is exceptionally beautiful. The reception staff are very friendly. The lady manager is always present and always keen to understand ones needs. The waiters are warm. The rooms are so spacious and executive, there are robes provided and if you have a small child they will definitely provide a cot. Our visit was during new years eve, and we were able to experience the fireworks though it was a rainy night. The previous year they were better..(well...I came back). The food was just good compared to my previous visit. They had lots of games for their guest and children as well.... It is perfect hideout that is easily accessible from the city. I will be back Ol Donyo Ville.

Our 56 modern and cosy rooms are a blend of comfortable interiors with modern comforts. All the rooms are neat and spacious with abundant natural light, free and reliable wi-fi connectivity, LED TV sets with access to satellite channels.
Worst Hotel ever
Reviewed By 244rosenThe rooms are stuffy and have a musty, horrible smell. I was booked into a room that was more like a closet. To get to the bathroom you had to ensure you stand on one side of the door else there would be no space for you to pass. The bathroom is not well cleaned and even has black stains along the tiles. It was unfortunate that the curfew hours had started and we were forced to sleep at this place. The staff rise up so early and shout and chatter without any regard to guests. The service was terrible. The staff do not respond to any question or complaint, it is more like take it or leave it. No covid rules seem to be in effect apart from telling you to wear a mask. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend it even to an animal. I even feel horrible giving it any rating.

Reviewed By Kenneth OI enjoyed clean comfortable suite at a fraction of other hotel prices. The facility is barely ten minutes to the airport thus providing a good rest while on transit. The customer service was superb too. I look forward to staying at Nairobi Airport Suites when I'm next in Kenya.
