Being in Manila for a week only I'm so saddened that I discovered this beautiful restaurant on the last day. The food the service the setting and atmosphere was amazing. I felt like I was in little Italy. The menue is wide and they have a big selection of home made foods, vegetarian dishes and amazing Italian cuisine. Can not wait to be back in Manila to eat here again!

The Front Office Manager, Sven, at the Novotel Araneta Center Hotel recommended this place to us. It was an 8 minute walk from our hotel, so very convenient. We ended up eating dinner here with a party of 6 and lunch with a party of 3. While the food is outstanding, the real star of the show is the owner, Roberto. He is straight out of Italy, with a heart as big as gold, and personality that is inviting and fun. He works hard and you can tell that he really wants everyone to have the best time. The food was fresh and well prepared, and real italian. Homemade pasta, and fresh beef flown in from Florence, Italy, add to the genuine experience. There is no wine list, but that doesn't mean they don't have great wines... all from Italy. They paraded no less than 7-8 bottles based on my requested profiles. We settled in on a nice Valpolicela Amarone and it was big and nice. Had a wonderful Tiramisu for desert, and Roberto capped our night off with some amazing chilled Limoncello Cream. The lunch was also good. We had pizza, and the cruist is thin and crispy with flavorful, high quality ingredients. Roberto also couldn't help himself, and brought us complimentary flash fried squash blossoms, which were wonderful Go... this place is a must try, and ask for Roberto. He'll be there, he always is. Thank you Roberto, we'll be back.

I decided to eat here 2 hours past lunchtime but the place was still crowded. I didnât have a problem getting a sit though because I was all alone. Ambience wise, it is the same with other branches, where bright neon lights displays all around, plus, the couches and a large TV gives a homey feel. Service wise, a little disappointed because I already knew what to order even before going in, and I raised my hands a lot of times before getting attended, for the reasons that it's either theyâre so busy that they didnât notice me or theyâre just ignoring me. I ordered the super bunch of lunch, merry mango milkshake that has been change to vanilla because of unavailability, and extra rice. The food took about less than 15 mins to be served but the vanilla milkshake came after I am almost done eating. It is not like that I wanted to drink the shake so badly, but because I needed that shake for I am a kidney stone former and I need to drink milk when I eat oxalate rich food such as potatoes which is where mojos are made from, and chicken breading. To my dismay, the waiter seemed annoyed which you can see in his face that I followed up the shake twice. Anyways, for food quality, most of it is good as usual, aside for the salad which seemed to be from an old batch because the lettuce was all sort of not fresh.I ate at busier Shakeyâs branch before and food establishments more crowded than this place but didnât experienced a service like this. So I guess a little bit of improvement is needed with this branch.Pros:-Food except for the salad-AmbienceCons:-Service

Iâm Italian, totally trustworty and well travelled. Let me say that the food wasnât bad. I was there with my Filipino gf that happily finished her amatriciana pasta, and I had more than half of my napoletana pizza.Wrong ingedients for both and wrong type of pasta, too much cooked and too thin, though! If they had just called it in another way as international food, maybe 3 stars could have been the right choice. But they did wrong the amatriciana, the pizza and also the tomato bruschetta: with parmesan cheese on top!!!The only Italian-style food was the focaccia as a appetizer with vinaigrette that, with the base of the pizza that was good, make me give them 2 instead of 1 star.Waiters were nice but too pushy in a desert restaurant: that was nice inside the bayleaf hotel in the intramuros.Average/high (to be in Manila) price, 1200 pesos 24$ with tap water and a small san pellegrino for me.

Used to be a great resto offering excellent food and superb service. Now, not so much. There were 4 servers on the floor but you had to yell to call their attention as they were chit chatting and had their backs away from the floor. To think, there were only 2 occupied tables, including mine. Service was also like a metered taxi with additional charges for extra bread, greens for the panizza et al. Food recipe seems to have changed as well with as food did not taste as good as it used too a d the carbonara was missing its big chunks of bacon and mushroom I used to lov

We have been here around five or six times this year and still, we love to dine in here. Food is very good quality and superb. Desserts are always nice. I always love the buttered shrimp. Love the staff, very friendly and all smiling.
