I'm not sure if the address for this listing is correct, but I am reviewing for the Coffee Bean at the Star Mall along Daang Hari. The staff was very polite and smiley faced, and the chocolate cake was amazing, Ordered their Ultimate Ice Blended drink as well, and was supremely satisfied with the sweetness and the coffeeness of it all. This visit made me want to go back for more.

An original concept idea for a coffee-shop in my neighborhood or just within my village. The menu are great to read and offers a unique mix of concoctions of drinks and meals. It's much like Cafe Mary Grace yet different in concept. This place is really good for young urban professionals wanting to wind down from a day's work or students wanting to wind down from their studies and homeworks. It is what I wanted when I was a young student in college / university, a place for me to relax and see a portion of the world inside the coffeeshop and restaurant. It is also to see creativity at work in the decors of the coffeeshop's interior. It's something where I would like to hold mini craft workshops where food is already included and even meetings with fellow collectors of postage stamps and postcards.Really wonderful place to conduct such events. Parking is only at the front of the place by the street.
Not many places greet you with the warmth and sincerity as the Dog and Bone does. Being in a wheel chair I thought the small step up into the Cafe for coffee was going t be a problem. But no, they had thought of that and immediately produced a ramp. It was as I suspected, a pretty basic style. It felt comfortable and being new, was very clean. The staff were busy and had no time to check their phones, impressive! We had coffee and during that time, Rowena, the knowledgeable Manageress, came to personally identify herself, and told us all about the place, its fare in food and the live music on a Friday, Saturday night. We decided to stay for lunch, and despite an attractive menu, my wife and I opted for the daily buffet lunch, at P199.00. Very good value with a number of choices where the use of spices added to its flavour. The fixed all day menu was a dream to read, especially the tell tale sign the owner was an Englishman, with items such as a Chip Butty and Bacon Butty, (the word Butty being a sandwich). After shopping we returned home and decided to take our 12 year old son for a meal in the evening. The same warm welcome, and different food. Our son having a big hot dog and chips, while my wife had a very tasty chicken sisig, and I, a big mouthwatering burger and chips. I even had a couple of beers, as my wife was driving. Though there was no live music, it being a Thursday, there was taped music playing, and not the head banging stuff one associates live music bars with, tasteful, loud enough to enjoy, but still have a family conversation. The Sunday Roast attracts us, as my filipino family now enjoy this on a Sunday, so we shall be returning, and reporting on the Sunday Roast, and our experience of a Live Music Night.I feel that I shall be as impressed with all my future visits as I have been with the two already made. A cafe by day, transforming to a bar in the evening. I am impressed and Starmall has a winner at last.
Must try the pecan carrot cake, red velvet and salted chocolate cake. Pre ordered doughnuts are a must try. They have different varieties such as milk chocolate, berries and creme, vanilla bean, creme brulee to name a few.
