The sushi is good. The toro not as fatty as the best fatty tuna in Tokyo, but it is very nice, and the sushi in the nearby Hyatt buffet restaurant comes nowhere close. The wasabi is grated and the real deal, which makes the sushi even nicer. Service was very good. Expensive yes, but delicious. We were trying to cut down on calories so perfect - deliberately choosing small quantities, we still felt full. Quality not quantity.

Its conviniently located at SM City along Dr. Santos Ave. In Parañaque .Which has ample parking space for customers and if you don't have a car , its accessible by taxi, jeepneys and even tricycles. The dishes are superb. So if you are looking for good Japanese foods with in Paranaque go to Katdu Sira at SMCity Parañaque

One of the few pioneer Japanese restaurants in BF Homes Paranaque. This restaurant has been in BF for years. Other restaurants have come and go, but Hanakazu has stood the test of time, despite it's steep prices. If you have the budget, you can definitely afford to binge in this restaurant. But, even if you don't, you have to give it a try as this is as authentic as it gets.Their food is so good, it will make you forget the price.Everything in their menu is worth a try and worth every centavo. If you find yourself in the South, pay this place a visit, open up that wallet and treat yourself to some good old Japanese cuisine. Try not to pay attention to the prices and enjoy every bite, savor that flavor and imagine yourself eating somewhere in Tokyo in one of those Izakayas.

Hubby was craving for good sushi but did not want to go back to our usual Japanese resto spots. He accidentally read a review on Sensei and suggested we try it out. It was supposed be along Aguirre rd, but we missed it the first time we passed by it. We found it the 3rd time when we drove REALLY slow this time. Place seems packed and so was their parking. People were lining up outside, we decided to stay even if it took awhile to get both a table and a parking slot. It was a small , quaint spot but we were lucky enough to get a table good for three. For the food , we ordered a lot of maki , sushi and of course, tempura. For us, a Japanese food trip is not complete without ordering a Tempura :) Service was fast , it did not take long before our food started coming in. We love everything that we ordered. The tempura , most especially. It pretty much surprised us since it was our first time to see about a foot long tempura (since it was deep fried with a head.) The only down side to our experience is that our table was too small for our food. The ambiance was a little too "dark" like for me. Diners were mostly young professionals . I did not notice any other family dining. It actually had a "Makati after work vibe" but the moment you step out, you'd realize that you are actually in BF Homes. Going back to the food, it was good. Price wise, you get what you pay for. High quality Japanese food. Was the wait worth it? Definitely yes.

Im glad they accept reservations but for only 15mins. We came earlier so the table was not yet fixed but the waitress is fast in setting it for us. Place is full even on a thurs night and customers come and go. Just dont expect too much on the ambiance its like an ordinary cafeteria with japanese touch. Food is great but prices are the best. We (5) ordered a lot and paid a little under 2,500pesos. I love the salmon sashimi and the grilled salmon they're very fresh. Ebi tempura is also good and crispy but it came in last so we're almost over eating (we took it home and it's still good the following morning just heated on the toaster). Gyoza is too cheap for 90pesos six pcs. Vege filling but tasty. Chicken skin on skewers super good! We also had makis, soup, croquettes, beer to give u an idea of how cheap the price is. We would definitely come back!

AAHHHhh!! Thatâs what came out of our mouths when we sampled the absolutely authentic and delicious Ramen in this otherwise nondescript hole in the wall. Everybody was welcome: Irasshaimase! We could have sworn we were in Japan! Perched on stools at the single bar in the restaurant, we whet our appetites, watching each bowl of delectable goodness, prepared individually: handmade noodlesâ¦amazingly intense brothâ¦all for a song! What more could we ask? Well, there was a small television screen up and to our left, that got us hooked on watching unfairly skinny "Goro" and "Ramen Girl" as they dreamt of, sampled and savored scrumptious, telegenic ramen: AAHHHhh!!

This is one of the restaurants on the groundfloor of the recently inaugurated Double Dragon Mall along EDSA Ext. near MOA. What immediately attracted me to this restaurant was its good selection of foods at affordable price. I tried their ramen gyoza set for only 320 pesos and it was really good! The place was jampacked when I had my lunch there, which shows that customers are satisfied with what they pay for. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. Thumbs up!

The world's most recognized Japanese restaurant, known for its innovative Japanese-Peruvian cuisine paired with a hip crowd and celebrity following.
Nobu in Manila has a good reputation for Japanese food, it is the only Japanese celebrity chef restaurant in Manila, no other ones around. The hype around it and the amazing comments I find however exaggerated unless our experience was so unusual. We went on a weekend for dinner, the restaurant was not busy at all, atmosphere very dull to say the least. Service was far from great, food took very long - and as I mentioned the restaurant was not busy at all and they had enough staff around. All seemed very uncoordinated, nobody seemed to run the place. The food was ok, nothing special but also nothing wrong with it, but for sure not the best Japanese food I ever had. Considering there is a celebrity chef name at the door one would expect more or not? I went to Matsuhisa in LA and some other Nobu's around the globe, those were great and exceptional, from service to food to restaurant vibe, Nobu Manila is way behind those.Quite frankly we ordered a few dishes, were not so impressed with the quality and waiting for so long, and left hungry after a while as we just had enough and were not enjoying our evening there.
