Having tried the 'Lechon Macau' (cripsy pork belly) in other restaurants with my Mom also- we'd say theirs was a disappointment. For a chinese restaurant, this was a rip-off as the price, serving and taste in Binondo restaurants (Chinatown) are way better. Their serving size is small for the price and the taste are just so-so. Only the ambiance stand out a bit. Serving was also wrong though quick; they served the dimsum (tiapao) last after the main dishes.

We wanted to eat at Tim Ho Wan but we decided to eat here anyway just to try to see if they are any good like Tim Ho wan and you know what? It was really good. I am glad we tried.

This is quite a popular restaurant with a large number of tables. We had arrived late so we were shown to our tables immediately. Our foodie friend did the ordering which came rather quickly. We had siomai, chicken feet then an excellent clam soup. The broccoli with shiitake mushrooms was very good too. We had to wait however for our flat noodles with beef slices and the waiting sort of dampened our enthusiasm. Service was okay though in this enormous hall, it was not easy to hail a waiter.

Celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday with the whole (extended) family. The waitstaff were very attentive, right from guiding us during ordering the food, adjusting the menu according to various dietary requirements and refilling my pot of hot tea. Food was excellent, and it kept on coming and coming and coming (we ordered a set menu for 12). The only drawback is that there were not much healthy alternatives - dishes were either fried, sauteed, contains fats or oil. I loved the sweet sour chicken, cooked in the style of sweet sour pork, greasiness notwithstanding! We had ha kaw, chicken feet, soup with silken tofu, ma po tofu, shrimps, pata tim with (fried) buns, seafood hotpot, steamed fish with soya sauce, salt and pepper pork ribs, birthday noodles, yang chow fried rice...a veritable lauriat!
Hua Yuan - Brasserie Chinoise offers Shanghainese cuisine revisited in a modern way. The casual yet upscale restaurant serves authentic Shanghainese favorites that are daring and creatively presented. Among the standout dishes are the world-renowned Xiao
My family and me would always consider Cantonese Food to be comfort food and celebration-food because of its flavors but not until we discovered Hua Yuan. We are not familiar with Shanghai but the restaurant gave true definition, representation and justice to the Shanghainese Cuisine. I dont have to travel abroad to get amazing food like Hua Yuan's. Must try dishes would be the Sweet and Sour Yellow Croaker, Hong Shau Rou, Beef Tenderloin in Cantonese Sauce, French Beans in Salted Egg and XO Fried Rice, Their signature Tea Smoke Duck was so tender and flavorful too.On top of the good food i would like to commend the management for training such an amazing team of servers. From Macky, Ninya of the reception for giving us a comfortable seat. Jim who was so shy but introduced to us the hua yuans mouth watering xiao long bao, Carl, Virgil, Jana and Maniel also made the dining experience worth remembering. Joseph and Jessica also came to say hello recommended a bottle of wine and assured that our table was well taken cared of.I will definitely recommend this restaurant and i truly look forward in visiting again.Chef David, Chef Lino and Chef Bea also came to check if were happy with the food. Here are some of the photos i got when securing my reservation via email. Legend of 8 Flavored Xiao Long Bao
Went there to try their xiao long bao, it was good, but poor service. We need to ask for the utensils, etc. and since we waited for awhile and were quite hungry already, we already asked the waiter to follow up our order before it was served.

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. Reception staff warmly greeted us as soon as we arrived. We were promptly seated and given menus. Dishes were well prepared, fresh and delicious. Our favorites- Double boiled chicken soup was tasty, served very hot. Peking duck done two ways was flamed table side. The skin was crispy and rich tasting. Grouper was cooked sweet and sour style. The fish was firm, fresh and sweet. Wait staff were pleasant. They responded promptly to our requests. The dining area is clean and nicely decorated. Tables are well spaced. This is a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy high quality and well prepared dishes.

Vikings Luxury Buffet is a contemporary and stylish restaurant that overlooks the majestic Manila Bay through its' vast windows. At Vikings, we are redefining the concept of buffet by incorporating show kitchens in our dining area to show our guests how o
We reserved for a very big group for a small family reunion and celebration of 2 birthday celebrants, which is why they placed us on the edge of the restaurant. Thanks to the reservation, we didn't really have to wait. The food selection is definitely wide ranged and had so many offers for everyone's taste buds to be satisfied. Dishes were refilled immediately and the chefs/cooks were very accommodating for special orders. The staff and crew were very friendly. The place was tidy but the floors just seemed to be a little slippery and somehow it was just too crowded at some point and you can hear loud chattering and boisterous laughing from the guests who's having such a good time, but other than that the experience was good. I loved the Desert area the most.

The choices are just awesome ~ by quantity and quality. It makes you wonder that to enjoy it fully, you need to stay for a couple of days in Sofitel and "attack" it per section. But that is just a suggestion on my part.Otherwise, you can proceed on what makes you happy at that moment.I like to whole setup as well. Even though there can be a huge number of people, you don't feel crowded. The staff are also well suited for the job and makes the experience even more memorable!

First of all the food was excellent, China Blue made their traditional Chinese dishes stand out by adding unique twists to them to give customers a different food experience. Secondly, the service was great. Our servers, Josh, Joven, and Yvonne, were very much attentive to our needs throughout the meal. Lastly, ambience of the place was great. Unlike other fine dining establishments, China Blue had a welcoming and comfortable aura. Along with this, I commend them for designing every detail of the restaurant as this helped in comunicating their brand and service.Dear Nicole,Thank you for making Conrad Manila your hotel of choice during your most recent visit. We are delighted to learn that you enjoyed your stay, and found the assistance of our team members especially Josh, Joven and Yvonne to your kind preference.
