Tried lunch at this city center restaurant as outside menu looked promising. First impression is a clean and modern place. Waiter had no welcoming personality. We ordered beverages and that was okay. Each of us ordered soup.....one had tomato which was watery and tasteless. The other had minstrone which was also watery and contained a few odd canned looking vegetables. No bread was served. Next order green salad and tomatoes which ended up being just lettuce with a thick mayonaise type dressing. Cash only. Look elsewhere.

We selected the L'A from the long row of eateries around McAullife Square. Of all the choices that are available, I fear that we found one of the clinkers. Very pedestrian and poorly prepared food. My wife had ravioli which she said was good in spite of the sauce having too many onions. I got the lasagna and it was a mess! Everything was glommed together in a small dish and put in the oven. The pasta was gooey, the cheese was runny and the whole thing entirely too watery. It was so bad I couldn't come close to finishing it. Definitely NOT recommended.

Looking for another place to eat in our 2nd night in Bastogne, we settled on this place. The menu had plenty of options but we settled on pizza, and a sizable pizza at that. The food was good and fresh. Coupled with the local beer and you have a great meal. Recommended.

This is an excellent restaurant which is a very short walk from the town centre and behind a petrol station in a small, but pleasant building. Don't let the location put you off as this restaurant is well worth seeking out.The restaurant is simply, but sophisticatedly decorated and I was eating with a group of colleagues. The menu is excellent, with sufficient choices rather than too many and my froie gras starter and pork main were excellent as was my fruit soup pudding. Good wines and coffee were also served.The staff were all excellent.If in the area I would strongly recommend.

We were staying at the attached hotel and were hungry for pizza. We ordered three pizzaâs for the four of us, and that turned out to be just right. I especially recommend the 4 Frommage pizza. All of them were excellent, and the service was also great. Prices were also pretty good for this area.
