Just to be clear right at the beginning of my review. This restaurant is definitely no ultra stylish, bloated, michelin starred kind of a restaurant.If you want that style of establishement, don't go there.The outside of the restaurant is....well let's say "used". The interior could use some refurbishment too BUT to be honest......that place is just amazing. Truth is, the outside and inside looks oldish but who cares if it adds to the coziness of your evening. Right after you step in you're welcomed by the friendly staff with a handshake and a smile followed by a prompt seating.The menu offers a good choice of different italian, french and portuguese dishes and some nice wines which make a good accompaniment to your choice of meal.I would appreciate a larger choice of portuguese dishes though, due to the fact that the owner and staff are from this country. I'm pretty sure that the staff would be pleased to present you a larger variety of their culinary culture.So if you fancy a good inexpensive meal and you don't care about the "simplicity" of the place, this would definitely be the place were you want to spend some time.For larger groups the restaurant also offers a separate room which can be arranged for your desires.TIP: If you are not certain what to choose and you are in for some meat, ask for the horse steak with their red porto sauce and some tagliatellis (not on the menu) . This dish is just pure awesomeness!For the pasta lovers I recommend the Macaroni San Marino...just mouthwatering

The town may be dreary - this is the infamous industrial south of Luxembourg after all - but there's absolutely no fault to be found with this sleek and stylish eatery. The fish and meat dishes are as delectable as the pizza and pasta, and service is friendly and efficient.

We went there to take out pizzas: short waiting time, drink offered by the house, oven with open fire, nice decoration with black-and-white-photos, easy parking and terrasse on the plus side. The pizzas were ok, a little more salt in the dough would be good, only the meat on it wasn't the best (enormeously thick ham on one and saucages on another). Although I normally enjoy the cold leftovers of a good pizza the day after, those were too greasy then...Not bad, not brilliant, let's say, an ok-pizzeria, as for the other menues, I can't tell

Ma femme ayant vécu en Algérie, c'est elle qui va vous dire ce qu'elle en pense : "ça c'est un couscous comme là -bas". Ãa veux tout dire... Si vous voulez un vrai couscous fait comme au pays, c'est ici qu'il faut venir. La nourriture est excellente, si on devait donner un tout petit point négatif, c'est le peu de choix dans les dessert. Restaurant-pizzeria Stella Rosa was a surprise to me. It is located in a calm neighborhood. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes it cozy and elegant. I was welcomed by the host, who speaks English, and settled me in a very good table. The menu is big and with a great variety of dishes. The waitress are very welcoming, helpful and polite. The meals are huge, tasty and well cooked. I had a calzone, which made my plate look small. The wine was also good. The same is applied to dessert: enormous Chocolate mousse. The price is fair and good. And finally the soundtrack is amazing (Queen, Bryan Adams among other classics). I really recommend this restaurant. If I could suggest: add an English menu. None of the waitress spoke English, hence I had to "Google Translate" everything I needed. Though they were extremely helpful, I know this makes other people waiting. Still, I will definitely go back. There are more dishes I need to try. I believe this is a newly opened restaurant but wow, food was probably the best I have had outside of Italy! Wonderful to find such a high quality Italian restaurant 10 mins from Luxembourg city, decor was beautiful and intimate, service was amazing, thank you for such a memorable night,
