Lusaka, the capital and largest city in Zambia, can be a confusing and chaotic place for visitors not familiar with its unplanned neighborhoods and streets. Busy stores and shopping centers line Cairo Road and the surrounding area. Nearby covered markets sell anything from souvenir figurines to spare engine parts. Just south of Lusaka is the Munda Wanga Environmental Park, which features botanic gardens, a wildlife park and sanctuary, picnic areas, swimming pools, and a relaxing terrace bar.

A fabulous place to get herbs, essential oils, salts, to either make yourself or to buy the ready-made items. There is also a selection of craft gins, flavoured waters etc. The coffee shop is only open week days till 16h30 unfortunately, but there is a market on the first Saturday of evey month which has a variety of stalls
The atmosphere was perfect. The food delicious. This is a place I can come to time and again. The menu is carefully selected. While at first glance you would feel like it is limited you would soon find that it has something you would enjoy.

We had chicken wiener schnitzel and Serbian muckalica and were happy with it. Muckalica was a bit salty but otherwise nicely cooked and spicy. Schnitzel was juicy and not greasy. The only problem ( encauntered in all Zambian restaurants we have visited) was that they did not have couple of wines from the wine list available. And especially those we have vhosen...

LA BOTTEGA is an Italian cafeteria, pastry shop and restaurant created to sustain the In&out of the ghetto Ngo rooted in bauleni Compound, in the outskirt of Lusaka. You can taste Italian and zambian speciality. Come and support us, we are waiting for you
La Bottega has a lovely garden, perfect for a breakfast but also lunch or a snack. The personnel is friendly and the ambiance is cozy. The Italian pastries are simply delicious, try the Baci di dama or the Fiamma, they really taste like home! (I'm Italian, I can say it!). Moreover, the profits from the activity go funding a very active NGO in Lusaka's slums. I recommend it!!

At The Cake Bar, we take pride in calling ourselves Lusaka's Premier Café Cakery and Coffee Destination. Located at Makeni Mall, we provide an all day café experience. From breakfast till dinner and everything in between, our constantly evolving menu made
If youâre sweating through hot season on the south side of Lusaka, sitting in the air conditioning at Makeni Mall and drinking perfect iced americanos is your best bet. Sure the mall has no ambiance but Iâve never had more consistently perfect coffee and service than at the The Cake Bar. Consistency is hard to find in Lusaka restaurants but they have great salads, terrific wraps (the chicken fajita wrap is like a super upgraded shawarma). And the service is fast and friendly. Thereâs only one better iced coffee in the city but itâs top secret so donât hesitate about checking out this location!Hello Kelly HThank you for valuable patronage and feedback. Happy to hear you love our consistency in service and coffee. Though we are slightly disappointed to hear that someone else does better iced coffee than us :( We would like to challenge that!So here's an offer. Bring us that coffee, and we'll ask our clients to be the judge as they compare ours with the other one. If indeed we come in second, your next 3 iced lattes are complimentary :)We look forward to having you again!

So let's get this clear. There is the Deli off Addis Ababa and what should be the other branch at Kabulonga Centro Mall.We went to the Centro Mall branch. For a start we got seated but no waiter attended to us. I walked up to the till to place our orders. The lady at the till was arguing with a client and seemed panicked whenever she was punching in the orders. She assured me that the food would take ten minutes. We had ordered two breakfast plates, I think it was called the breakfast skillet.Twenty minutes later the food hadn't come. When it did eventually come my plate had mushrooms. I had twice stressed that I don't want mushrooms on my plate. The food was overall flat. Only thing I enjoyed was the bacon. Would I recommend the place to anyone? No!!! Service was poor. Food poor. Ot just didn't work. Such a shame!
