Room was very clean and comfortable for pre-Camino stay. Breakfast requires signing up for a time slot as Covid precaution. Fast WiFi. Elevator.

Reviewed By MidlandsRascalWell located within the city walls, a short walk to P. Santo Domingo underground car park where parking for 2 days cost me £10. The location is on pedestrianised street so it does require a short walk with luggage, The hotel is much what you would expect from a 4 star but our room badly needed repainting with black marks up the walls. I have stayed in better decorated 1 stars in Spain. Breakfast has a reasonable choice in the Galician style of being more humble that you often find in USA or UK. The receptionist missed several parts of her job in not giving details of meal times nor wifi code. There is a cafe on the terrace but with plastic blinds folded down, it was stuffy and unpleasant. On our floor the fire doors were wedged open with wooden wedges. Now whilst I know nothing about Spanish regulations, I know that fire doors that are open, do not act as fire doors.

Reviewed By AntmaimIt was like stepping back a good thirty years, Nothing actually wrong with this hotel, but lacking character and facilities. There isn't any air conditioning, while we were there the restaurant was not open, nor was the bar staffed, although I was able to obtain a beer. The hotel is at the side of the ring road, but it is surprisingly quiet.. It needs a good deal of money spending on it to bring it up to date. Nevertheless, we would stop here again

Reviewed By VadimM67The main advantage of this hotel is its location next to the city wall. And this is the main attraction with the status of a UNESCO World heritage site. Otherwise a regular hotel. Not new, but clean. The reception is open for a certain time, so I just closed the door in the morning.

Reviewed By Juaris25Nos alojamos por una noche en esta pensión de Lugo. La ubicación es muy buena, a escasos metros de la catedral y la muralla romana. La atención fue muy buena ya que se pusieron en contacto con nosotros para que pudieran estar a la hora de nuestra llegada para que no tuviésemos que esperar. Las habitación era muy grande y las camas cómodas, pero para nuestra sorpresa la cama estaba sin hacer con las sábanas dobladas encima. Obviamente, no vamos de vacaciones para hacer la cama, así que nos conformamos con el edredón que era lo suficientemente grueso para no pasar frío. La almohada, demasiado fina.

Reviewed By CarolinaF2756We went to Hotel Balneario on May 13 for a Termas service. There were 4 employees there no one acknowledged our presence. When we asked they said you just wait there. With a line of more than 6 turns and only 1 of the 4 working, we waited for a while but decided to leave. Very rude and disrespectful attitude of their employees.

Worth a stay
Reviewed By Judith LReally clean place. The rooms are big and bright and they get cleaned every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We only payed 29€ for a double room which was definitely worth it! The building doesn't look that nice from the outside but is lovely inside. It's a little bit of a walk to the city centre but not too far way.

Reviewed By Theoj28No air conditioning or fans. Rooms are adequate and average. Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant on a Monday where the staff were ill prepared.. Street parking for hotel guests is available. Onsite parking €10.
