Last Sunday was a very special Lunch for our Mum's 100th Birthday. From the moment we arrived we just knew it was going to be amazing.
The staff had arranged our table in the Bar area so it was accessible for our guests who varied in age. They also (without request) had organised a 2nd table on which we were able to display our Cake, cards, Balloons etc. This helped create a real Party atmosphere.
Caroline and her wonderful professional staff were so attentive, kind and genuinely concerned that we were all enjoying the occasion.
The food was excellent. There were 16 of us and we were all happy with the quality and
quantity of their very impressive Lunch menu
Our experience at Becketts was exceptional due to the wonderful staff who really made our Occasion special. We could not have chosen a better restaurant for such a special Occasion. Our Mum had an amazing time and loved her Fish dish.
Thank You All.

First time in a long time since we dropped in to Da Vincis. Lovely friendly welcome from our waitress. We shared a starter of buffalo wings - wow were they spicey - but yummy too and plenty for two. Served with free italian bread tasties topped in a reduced balsamic to bridge the gap to our mains. I had Penne chorizo in an interesting creamy sauce with chicken and her nibs had the beef cannaloni a la casa in tomatoe sauce with basil served with a healthy helping of garlic bread. Cleared our plates with no room for afters or coffee. Ill be back for more as the Penne Tikka caught my eye.

My wife and I called in to the Village Inn, Main Street, Celbridge last Sunday after services for a quick drink. While there, we looked at the menu which was very appetising. We both had the chicken and mushroom starter with chips between us. This comes with side salad. We also enjoyed lovely guinness to wash it down. This was our first time here since renovations recently and we were very pleasantly surprised. Although the creamy sauce in the vol-a-vants was nice, it lacked that something to make it triumphant. Still, the starter was well presented and tasty. Good spot the "Inn", and we will be back.

Delicious food served in salubrious surrounds with live music on weekends
Located on the floor above Supervalu, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. We had a birthday dinner for a group of 6 (there is a 10% service charge for group of 6 or more). Service was very good and good served quickly. We had buffalo chicken wings for starters and while it was not hot and sour, the 6wings tasted really nice with some aioli. The only thing I didn't really like was complimentary garlic bread as it was served cold, but that's because I think it would taste better warm. For mains we had black spaghetti (from squid ink) and mixed seafood, and spaghetti alle vongole. Both were huge servings with plenty seafood and a befitting wine sauce. Not at all like those restaurants that serves loads of pasta and cut back on the seafood. With mains costing less than €20 each, and also cutting and serving the birthday cake for us, this is a restaurant that provides superb food and service at very reasonable prices. Make sure you go hungry.

We were in Leixlip for a week and dined at Alvitos twice. We had the fried mushrooms, duck papparadelle, seabass involtini and cheesecake. The second time we split the beetroot salad, onion rings, Italian sirloin with mushroom sauce cooked on the hot stone, and chocolate fondant cake for dessert. We enjoyed the food very much except for a small part of the steak that couldn't be chewed, and the fact that it was already past medium rare when they brought it to us on the stone. We removed it right away before it cooked more. I think I would try the filet if I went there again. We had excellent service the first night when we had a waiter. The second night, I think the manager had to handle the entire restaurant by himself so it was still good in spite of that. We enjoyed the hot stone cooking so much that we went on Amazon and ordered one for ourselves! We would definitely go there again.

standards have really dropped here, dirty glasses, disinterested bored staff , very poor product knowledge - dont know trends in drinks ie. gins, tonics, garnishes - actually i blame management for not inducting the staff members - where is the training ?

Myself and my partner really enjoyed the food here. We both started with garlic bread, it was simple but tasty. I had the salmon as my main which was delicious. It came with vegetables and baby potatoes which had a lovely bbq taste. My partner had a burger and chips which he thought was lovely. The chips were chunky and fresh looking. Both portion sizes were great. Staff were lovely and the restaurant is lovely inside.

Visited this restaurant last night with a friend. I had a starter of mushroom crostini and combo wings and spare ribs. The starter was uninteresting, dull, and tasteless. Plenty of bread but very few mushrooms. Bland and tasteless. The main course arrive din two different dishes. By the time I had finished the ribs I tried the chicken wings and they were cold. Lots of meat, but no chips, no salad, no veg. Service OK, but not excellent. Table was dirty, wine menu was greasy, dirty and stained. I will not be rushing back, nor would I recommend it. Poor, poor, poor....
