Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Luang Prabang. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the former capital of Laos, and you'll see everything from golden-roofed temples to vestiges of colonial French architecture here. Buddhist monasteries abound in Luang Prabang, and early every morning, monks process through the streets collecting alms (their food for the day). If you want to watch or participate, though, ask your hotel for a brief etiquette lesson first—you have to distribute the food in a specific manner.

Enjoyed our BBQ here. Cooked duck, beef, pork, chicken and bacon on the grill along with numerous vegetables in the broth. The 'small' set for 2 was enough for 2 of us and our 7 year old son.

We open every day from 8 am to 11.30 pm
We couldn't stop coming again and again, evening after evening to this awesome restaurant / bar in Luang Prabang. The garden behind the main building is on multiple levels, you feel almost to be in the rainforest. For food I can recommend the Laos Barbeque which is done in the middle of your table and is kind of a ritual and you can really enjoy it (don't be on a rush!). There were also happy hours with two cocktails for 20,000 Kip (2⬠together!).The waiters (all male) were very friendly, speedy and attentive. They will do whatever possible to enjoy your time. This place seems to attract especially LGBT guests, locals and foreigners.I wish there would be a place like this in my hometown :)

njoy a hearty, delicious and healthy Korean food with a family like welcome. Main dishes all include unlimited water, rice, and 8 side dishes. Having living here for 6 years, I would be happy to share valuable information on traveling around Luang Prabang
We ordered two portions of pork for BBQ two ramen and one bibimbap, accompanied by free rice and many side dishes, total 270K kip. The Korean male owner helped mix the bibimbap. The BBQ pork and bibimbap are very delicious, ramen is nice but a little too spicy. Overall a very satisfying and enjoyable dinner. Elderly Korean (we assumed is the dad of the owner) who thanked us for our patronage on our way out of the restaurant even offered to give us a ride back to our guesthouse which we turned down politely. A cool evening walk back to the guesthouse with a full stomach is good exercise.

Dyen Sabai offers Lao typical food. From November to August, we offer breakfast. We also have a nice selection of desert (foreigner sweet.. sorry the Laotians don't eat that much sweet!!) We also, have happy hour from noon to 7 pm, 2 cocktails for the pri
Firstly the pedestrian bridge to cross the river is built every year (what a marvel) and lasts until the first floods. What a unique experience for us right from the start. We were efficiently welcomed at Dyen Sabai and we found a little nook with scattered cushions and a low table. We ordered our first Laos BBQ and had a demo when our food bowls arrived. O My what a treat! A section of the table was removed and a bucket of glowing hot coals was slotted into the table itself. Our cooking apparatus was placed on top. It had a slotted metal dome with a moat. Our lovely waiter poured some broth into the moat from our kettle and used chopsticks to rub a piece of pork fat over the dome - this was ultimately to stop the meat / soya sticking to it when cooking. We had fresh herbs and eggs also that we put into the broth to cook whilst we cooked the meat / soya. We cooked and ate at the same time and entered our own little world concentrating on the fresh delightful food. The food was fantastic and fresh. There are lots of little alcoves for privacy and family group facilities - but I would highly recommend you BOOK.it was dark when we returned across the bridge. A few beers later the water rushing below our feet and the little lights made a memorable experience. There is a toll - a family member sat in a hut at the end of the bridge. The money pays for the construction of a new bridge next year.Go Go Go - we loved it! Thank you to the people of LaoWe cannot recommend highly enoughThank you for visiting and your review, we are glad that you had a great time in our restaurant. Looking forward to see you again soon
