Prices good. Service prompt with welcome ouzoOrdered spaghetti carbonara. Pretty standard. Offered no pepper. Asked for and received but grinder did not work properly. Not possible to get priory receipt for meal for expense purposes Will try again

On our first night in Bremerhaven we were hungry and had failed to do our research. I looked on TripAdvisor and found a place with a decent review nearby. We walked into Dafni with only the 2 positive reviews in mind. It lived up to the recommendations!We started with Ouzo (on the house) and then enjoyed the salad bar (that come with most meals). There are several meat and mixed meat plates. I enjoyed the Dafni Plate while my spouse enjoyed a fish plate (that was excellent...as expected in a port town). The wine menu has a little for everyone and we finished the meal with either Ouzo or Amaretto (again, on the house).Wonderful experience due to the great food and the friendly waitstaff. They have English menus (but don't expect much English to be spoken.) They also offer a smoking section, so make sure you specify if you are passionate about such things.

Restaurant Poseidon is based on Greek theme serves mouth watering Greek cuisine including Ouzo. It has an excellent ambiance and is ideal for a family dinner. We tasted their Huhnerbrust filet, Grillteller and Fischplatte which were awesome. The staff are very friendly and help you in selecting your choice of meals. They serve liquor too. The prices are mid range but worth it.

... und sehr freundliches Personal.Ich war geschäftlich in Bremerhaven und habe daher nur den Gyros-Teller mit Fritten, Kraut & Tzatziki gehabt. Die anderen Speisen auf der Karte habe ich nicht probiert. Es gibt nur Schweinefleisch-Gyros. Letztlich ist das ja mal der ursprüngliche Gyros in Griechenland gewesen; Hänchen-, Pute- und Wasweissichgyros kamen erst viel später als Modeerscheinungen dazu. Nur selten gab es Lamm in dieser Form.Die Pommes kommen als Standard-Industriefritten daher, waren aber gut gewürzt. Die Portion war so üppig, dass es für 2 Mahlzeiten gereicht hätte. Meine Bitte, den Rest als Doggybag mitnehmen zu dürfen, kam man anstandslos nach. Bei 6,50 ⬠für so einen leckeren Gyrosteller gibt es eigentlich keinen vernünftigen Grund bei McDonalds & Co ein pappiges Standardmenü zu 7,89 ⬠zu vertilgen.

Went for dinner, and had a fantastic meal. Portions are huge, and the food is delicious. Lots of locals also eat there. They've got an English menu too.

We had a tomato soup, which was really delicious. After that we both had a pizza, which was again very good and tasty, but too much... :-)
