Keine Pommes, Schnitzel usw.Ist schon einen Versuch wert.

This Place has the Most beautiful Location. Right in the middle of the Forest, you can Start every Trek right in front of the door. The rooms are spotlessly clean, plenty of room, good showers with pure white towels. The newest addition to this property is the Glashaus outside in the terrassed Garden. Every Friday evening in season they BBQ with everything your heart desires, you pick what you want and they grill it for you.The breakfast here is great, especially on a Sunday, as you then profit from the fact that the locals come here to Brunch.Everyone working here seems to love their job! Friendlyness and competence mixed with the pride of doing a good job, makes you feel so welcome that you dont want to leave!

I went with my cousin's family who are living in Bad Essen and this restaurant is fantastic. The best local german food. Excellent wine and the vibe in the restaurant is brilliant, as locals wil break out in song !!!! Very nice and very busy. Best to book, and maybe take a german friend if you do not talk the lingo as the whole menu is in German. No English, but well worth the try. Excellent find.

We celebrated our wedding here and it was perfect!!!!! The food was amazing. We are french so we know all about great food = "bonne bouffe".:))))The presentation is tastefull. The lokation is spaceous with a mix of traditional-modern furniture. Our room was nicely decorated. The terrace where the reception was held is leading to a green garden. The personal and owners are welcoming and friendly. Every wish was without hesitation fullfilled. The hotel rooms are spaceous, clean with very comfortable beds. All in all we would celebrate every event there! A great place to know! Try it out by dining there as a couple / friends/ family/ group or have a coffee on the huge terace on market days. You won't be dosappointed.

This restaurant was suggested to me. I arrived during the Christmas Market. Restaurant was very busy, but very accomodating. They provided me with an English menu. I ordered the breaded pork. It was delicious. Everyone was very nice, and I loved the atmoshere and the food.
