A friend and I ate here one evening, we were staying near by. We were pleasantly welcomed and offered seating options. We ordered a mixed meat dish for 2, it was delicious, well cooked and tender. The food and atmosphere were excellent, highly recommend.

The restaurant is a customary small-town pizzeria establishment.The menu is common Italian dishes. The pizzerias can be had at the restaurant or take out. Decoration and table decoration give the restaurant a no-nonsense ambiance. Ristorante Mamma Mia restaurant has a impressive terrace at the rear side of. Staffs are friendly and service is adequate. Parking next door. We came on a weekday and the place was quiet. Nonetheless the food was tasty. We recommend Ristorante Mamma Mia to anyone who seeks OK food at an acceptable price.

Eigentlich war ich im Harz in Bezug auf Restaurants eher schlichte Allerweltskost gewohnt. Dagegen war der Waldfrieden in Rothesütte eine echte Ãberraschung. Der Zufall und Hunger führte uns an diesem verregneten Samstagabend in diesen verschwiegenen Winkel des Harzer. Das Restaurant war nur schwach besucht - für mich überraschend bei der Qualität der Speisen. Reichhaltige Wildgerichte - doch ich entschied mich für die Schweinebäckchen mit selbstgemachten Apfelchutney. Als Vorspeise warmen Ziegenkäse. Eine Küche ohne groÃen Firlefanz aber köstlich. Dazu passend die unaufdringliche aber nette Bedienung. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We ate here on our first lunchtime on our German holiday and from then on it was our tried and tested favourite placeInitially we came here for schnitzel, which were superb and came in so many different ways. My boys ate the schnitzel here four times in just six days! My favourite was the venison, which had been slow cooked and came with the traditional German accompaniments. My husband rated the steak as first class. Wonderful service too by charming, smiling , attentive waiting staff. Highly recommended.?Thank you for your visits to our house and the great rating! We were very happy about it and would be very much looking forward to a return visit during your next vacation!

We were quite a sizeable party but for whatever reason they didn't staff up for our numbers. With a lot of patience on our part we were eventually served and that patience was rewarded with some very nice meals.Dear Tomfox, could you please help me with the date of your visit? Because we can't remember a group of english speaking guests in the bygone weeks. Maybe you quoted the wrong restaurant? If not, we are very sorry that you have had to wait. Best Regards Kerstin

Very helpful staff, great food, They gave us help to choose what to eat. Good value too! The Restaurant is not reaally park of the caravan site even though it is at the entrance. Walkenried is worth a look too!
