Cold Friday night in Bad Salzdetfurth.. Took a walk thru' the park and behind the swimming pool found Witwe Bolte... WOW excellent! Friendly warm welcome! No reservation - No worries :-)Took a seat and the lady server 0 perfect English Explained all we needed to know! Highly recommend the Schnitzel - All Currywerst - Super!Service, atmosphere and staff - amazing!Highly recommend I will return :)

Fantastic restaurant, up on a hill outside Hildesheim Germany. On our short trip to Hildesheim, we actually ate here for 2 nights because the food and service were so good. A special call out to the great service from Serkan, who took care of us the second night, when they were very busy -- even coming out to the car to tell us that we could get a table.Menu is meat oriented, but things for non-meat eaters as well. Fantastic appetizers -- burrata, goat cheese etc. Salmon was excellent!

Having booked for 8pm we were seated but kept waiting for service for well over 20 minutes. We pointed this out to our host and he directly took over serving us in a timely manner and took our orders, brought the drinks and outstanding meals. Generous portions of delicious Greek cuisine that was well worth our time. Then he delighted us with gratis desserts and ouzo just to make sure we had had a memorably pleasing evening.
