Before it got the Michelin star this was our favorite place. However, with the star they went over-board price-wise. Kokenhof offers (almost) the same quality at less than half the price. What is more, Elfrun Kühn, the owner, shares gossip about her guests with everyone, after we had found about that we don't go there anymore.

From outside, this place looks like an average contryside restaurant. The interieur, however, is modern and warm. In summer, it is most enjoyable to have dinner or, at least, a welcome drink in the backyard. The food is excellent, both, the way it is prepared and the way it is styled. Although not really centrally located, it is worth it to do this 30 min trip from Hannover to enjoy a fantastic dinner and a perfect evening! I have been here with my family and friends as well as with business partners.
