Many of Braunschweig's most historic buildings surround the city center Burgplatz (Castle Square), including the 12th-century Braunschweiger Dom (Brunswick Cathedral), burial place of the famed Henry the Lion, powerful early Duke of Saxony. Henry's rebuilt castle, Burg Dankwarderode, is also on the Burgplatz and is now a museum. The Old City Market is another popular visitor spot.

Sad but true - all these good reviews but we found in particular the burger not even mediocre. Poor meat, tasteless bacon, unsalted fried and watery coleslaw. 3 is only because of the friendly service and nice location.

The slogan for this place is " love at first bite" and for us our first visit here was very enjoyable. While burgers are not one of our favourite meals, this place had been recommended. Food arrived promptly and was tasty and fresh. The tables were well setup with a variety of sauces and paper towels and a hand wash basin and soap dispenser provided for sticky hands! Tables are kept clean as was the whole area. A variety of cold drinks from a dispenser are provided and you can refill as many times as you wish. Good place for a quick and tasty meal!

Both of us had burger and they were tasty but âtooâ dry...we might come back to try something else as the place has good ambiance, decoration is cool and service was very good.
