Freitagabend 19 Uhr - wir haben gerade noch den letzten freien Tisch erwischt.Die Getränke haben etwas gedauert, aber der Service gut.Ich glaube der Inhaber könnte wirklich Alexis Zorbas heiÃen :-) Man glaubt zumindest, er wäre es. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, ohne groÃen Schnick-Schnak aber gemütlich.Das Essen war toll und wie immer bei Griechen, so auch hier sehr reichlich.Sollte ich mal wieder in Elsfleth sein, steht das ganz oben auf meiner Liste, wo ich essen möchte

In the northern part of the city of Bremen since 1987. Solid service with a little lack of typical Greek smiles and attitude more like German efficient handling of food in taking.Food tastes authentic and you always get your courtesy Ouzu.

For many years at this location and growing. Once only small room with limited number of tables. Today extended to the outside which is particularly nice during the summertime. Food is still very good with reasonable portions and well priced. Staff was more eager in the past but still good service.

Olympia is a wonderful family run restaurant where you always get really authentic food. Having said this I on the other had would clearly recommend to stick with the Greek food and not choose pizza or pasta. Best choices are the lamb joints, which can be ordered with a variety of side dishes.The serving is very personal and Andreas (owner) likes to stay for a minute or two to casually chat. The restaurant is never empty, so expect to see many of the locals and families with small children. Also be sure to reserve when going on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or with more then 4.

This is a large restaurant with lots of separate rooms so that it is ideal for groups and parties, as well as individual dining. The food is delicious and very well presented. They have totally authentic Greek food, the owner is Greek and runs the restaurant with family. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a pleasant outside terrace for those who just must have a cigarette, and I believe at weekends they have the traditional Greek dancing etc. It made a lovely change from German cuisine. I was in a large group for "brunch" which lasted from 11:00am for 3 hours - until we couldn't eat any more! On that experience, I highly recommend the restaurant. They sell their own bottled olive oil with herbs - a definite "must have".

Ein sehr gemütliches griechisches Restaurant. Das Ambiente urig mit griechischen Deko-elementen. Etwas altbacken das Mobiliar. Könnte mal renoviert werden. Aber das Essen ist sehr lecker und reichlich . Alles ist sehr zu empfehlen von den Speisen. Bis auf den Kaffee bzw. Espresso, der ist nicht gut, zu lasch. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Preise sind ok. , der Inhaber ist immer sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr Wilkommen im Akropolis ". Und Parkplätze gibt es auch in der Nähe. Bzw gut mit Bus erreichbar.

Ein sehr nettes, griechisches Restaurant in Aumund. Sehr leckeres essen , besonders hat mir der Fisch und die Röstkartoffeln gefallen. Auch das Salat-Buffet finde ich gut. Wenn man mal länger aufs Essen warten muss, so wie heute bei uns, kann man sich die Zeit mit Salatessen vertreiben. Das Gemüse zu meinem Fischteller hat mir nicht so gut geschmeckt, zu flau und zu bissfest, ist natürlich geschmacksache. Der Service War sehr freundlich und kompetent. Mir gefällt auch sehr das griechisch, moderne Ambiente. Sehr angenehm dort zu sitzen. Toiletten auch sauber. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch gut. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist optisch ansprechend und auch in Ordnung. Einzig, die Pommes hatten die Friteuse nur kurz gesehen, sie waren daher fast roh. Aber auf die Pommes kommt es beim Griechen ja auch nicht an. Der Rest war in Ordnung und auch die Menge war reichlich. Das Restaurant war an einem Samstag Abend bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt, daher war es sehr laut. Man musste deshalb auch lauter sprechen. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind für Bremen Nord normal hoch. Für Gesamtbremen allerdings recht hochpreisig.

During May and June, 2013 we stayed in Schwanewede about 1 block away from this restaurant. The restaurant is a few blocks southwest of the town center in a residential neighborhood. We noticed that it was always packed judging by the number of cars in the lot, so we decided to try it. During our stay we went back 6 times. Every time we were warmly greated even though we don't speak German very well. The food is absolutely the best Mediterranean & Greek food we have every had and the service was always spectacular, friendly and prompt. At this restaurant it is a tradition that all receive a cold glass of ozzo shortly after being seated. This ozzo turns white from being icy cold and is the best I've ever tasted. We would go back just for the ozzo. We learned that much of their food & drink is flown in from Greece from where the owner's have immigrated. It is a family run business. Maria, a daughter of the owners, waited on us most of the time. She could speak English very well and helped us understand the menu items. Her recommendations regarding the fish were always a great choice. There is booth style & table indoor seating and casual seating out back on the deck & garden area. No matter how packed we thought the restaurant appeared we were always able to find a nice place to sit. The outdoor seating is particularily fun. Each time we were seated on this covered patio a group of local patrons would send us a drink, ask us to come visit their table or waive to us. We met the owner's family including several uncles, sons and the grand mother. When they learned we were in need of a taxi to the Bremen train station Maria insisted to drive us herself. We have never see such a caring staff, gracious owner's, and outstanding food at a reasonable price.
