Laz will cook up an amazing surprise of fresh and deliciously flavored multi course meal. Very good wine selection and atmosphere was perfect for a romantic couple or group of friends celebrating a birthday.

Cafe/Restaurant in Wintergarten.A good place with an eye on the Elbe, even in those fresh days.To those ones that enjoy fish dishes home made in the old German way is a place to visit.Coffee and cake is a good alternative offer between meals.

I have been to the Ratskeller a few times when I have visited Stade. It is very centrally located but slightly off putting as the entrance and first appearance isn't the best. However, it is well worth a visit. The homemade beer is exceptionally good. The food is plentiful and extremely tasty and it represents good value for money. If you don't have fluent German then the menu can be challenging but for the savvy then google translate will give you a wonderful translation for rump steak!!

Nestled away in the outskirts of Harsefeld lies a true gem of a restaurant. It serves local cuisine and the chef makes the most of local, seasonal ingredients. The food is cooked well, tasty and the staff incredibly friendly. They are busy as this is a restaurants where the locals eat, so reservations are recommended.

The Fischhus Störtebeker offers an excellent range of fish and meat dishes along with a selection of salads. The dining rooms are all atmospheric and the service is extremely friendly! The restaurant also has some single and double rooms, which are quiet since the restaurant is located off a side street to the Fischmarkt.

What a lovely bistro restaurant. It has been carefully thought out with everything in shades of lilac. Service was excellent and the burgers as good as any we've ever had. Added to the location on the heart of the beautiful town of Stade and you've got a winning combination.

We've been to this bar many many times over the years and have always had a good welcome..but things have changed...the old owner Ron has gone and the new manager/owners are absolutely terrible and ungrateful of any business you want to pass them on...only yesterday she turned myself and 4 friends away...we ended up spending â¬125 in a bar across the road...I can't explain how badly we were treated..the landlady seems lazy and ungrateful..and smiling is a no goer...please do not spend any of your money in this establishment(unless Ron returns) there are plenty of other bars in Stade that are more worthy and grateful for your business...I'd go as far as saying one star is too much for this dive of a place...I'm not a happy chap!!!!!
Where to eat European food in Stade: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We ate there an interesting interpretation of fish'n'chips with fried potato slices. The dishes were really tasty and well prepared. Fail some points that go around the service. Unchanged table clothes, not entirely professional service or untidy toilets. I wasn't charmed by the atmosphere although from the outside it looked amazing. Nevertheless, worth trying and getting one's own impression.
