This is a cute little place near the center of Braunschweig. Great food, great staff, great prices. Only open for dinner and parking is difficult, but make it a point to go. You won't be disappointed!

This restaurant impressed me by the quality of service, the kindness of the waiters, and their professionalism. The menu has lots of choice, and includes all the classics from a good italian restaurant, for a very affordable price. I'd recommend it without any doubt !

Pros:1. Very friendly staff2. Good food.3. Fair prices.Cons:1. If you wanna pay with electronic card, such a big place has only ONE freaking card reader. You have to wait a long time. So better take cash.

We were in Braunschweig on a hot day, the city centre was very busy so it was a relief to eat in this more tranquil and cooler place. It was a bit of a hassle to find a place to park our car.We tried the local speciality âpfifferlingeâ a type of wild mushroom. Food was good but on the heavy side (lots of cream). Staff was friendly but I donât understand why as in so many places just after having served your food, while you are putting your fork in your mouth for your first bite somebody pops up near your table and asks if the food tastes good: please let me taste it first, and ask me if it was good after I have finished, not when my mouth is full with food (remember what our mothers thought us: donât talk when your mouth is full )

This stylish restaurant is located in Old Town quarter of Braunschweig. We can guess that the place earned a good reputation among customers as we discovered a substantial problem in finding a free table. The staff was very friendly so we managed to negotiate to have a quick dinner at the table reserved for another customer. Inside we found an interesting interior, nice atmosphere and fine food at moderate prices. What we can definitely recommend (to adults customers only) is to finish your meal with Kartoffelschnaps :-)

A great place to have a meal which is a step above pub meals as the menu is varied for all tastes, arrives promptly and is a large serving, price is very good. Although not a big restaurant, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and as it is a working brewery, the equipment and workings can be clearly seen from the glassed area of the dining area. The beer is also very good. This is a great place to dine with family or friends, and very close to the city centre.

We were here multiple times during our five-day stay, because we love the bar so much. Plus Corby the owner/bartender and his amazing Gin cocktails of which there were many inventive choices. We enjoyed fabulous drinks we had never even dreamed of before. Her fav was rose petals with Hendricks, enhanced by cucumber. Mine was the physalis -- incredible!

Cafe Strupait was a nice surprise regarding atmosphere, service and quality of food. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, flexible and efficient. Even though we had not booked and the restaurant was fully occupied, we managed to get a table. They were also very friendly and easy going with children.

.....this is a good choice. We went for dinner for our anniversary and were really positively surprised, The place is relatively small, but still there not too many tables for the space available and it is tastefully decorated in a no-nonsense modern style. The atmosphere is quiet, very good for conversation. the food was of very good quality in adequate portions and well presented. Service was attentive, competent and friendly. Sometimes a little less detail in the description of the different courses would have been better. Prices are high, but you do get good value for money. I guess we will be back.
