Landerik is in love with its homeland. Every single dish served here begins its journey somewhere in the wide countryside of our beautiful Slovenia, where, with the help of dedicated local growers and farmers, a key ingredient is selected - and it forms a
This years's new addition to Ljubljana's gourmet selection offers nice and well thought internal design with high quality service and tasty design food. We were party of 7 and have decided to go for 5 gourmet menus, 1 vegetarian option and 1 ala cart selection. Start with mushroom-nuts soup has been a nice treat. Followed by smooth and tasty beef tartare as a cold and ricotta...risotto made of barley... for warm starter.Mains were either beef cheeks on top of polenta or sea bass. For desert 2 typs of "kaiser schmaren" a local type of pastry based on crepes dough. All in all very tasty and perfectly displayed food and superb service. From price point a bit on the higher end ... a bit more then expected. But this is simply a result of growing upper class tourism in Ljubljana.2 remarks - as it is slow food, the restaurant should consider upgrading the chairs as they are rather uncomfortable... and some unique food experience is missing... something to remember.

Modern design, very nice interior, knowledgeable and high class waiting staff and very good food are main characteristics of this restaurant. Only down side is its location, away from city center, so use of taxi is recommended (unless you have a car at disposal). During the rush hour you can get stuck in a traffic jam. But since Ljubljana is a small town, this could take you away some 15-20 minutes, no more. Once you are in the restaurant, I am positively sure you will love it. Cuisine is on the modern side and very tasty. I had a fish and it was very nice.

Ever changing menu, local produce, natural wine list and owners behind the stoves. Warmly welcome. Luka & Urska & Simon
The three of us enjoyed sharing a range of dishes from the dinner menu. All were very good, but I thought the prawn, parmesan and pasta the best I have eaten, while my partner raved about the cherry tomato with tonnato. Expect some interesting flavour combinations (raspberries and boquerones, anyone?) which work much better than you'd expect. Service was friendly, and the price very reasonable. The only area for improvement I think would be in the wine selection. At present it is restricted to organic wines, which to my taste aren't the best on offer in Slovenia.

We truly lucked out stumbling on this place, and also landing a table without a reservation. Several people were turned away after us. The experience was top notch. From the time we walked in, to the time we left. Having to wait for about 5-10 minutes, the server offered us a half bottle of wine while we wait. (It was excellent too). Talk about hospitality!Once our table was ready the same server offered up several recommendations, which we took...and boy were we glad. We ordered the pork chop, which was my favorite. Grilled porcini mushrooms drizzled with olive oil. A coal baked potato loaded with feta and cottage cheese (a typical Slovenian food) and finished it off with a fillet. All were top notch. Added bonus for the chef coming out and mingling with us and other tables. She was a riot too! They obviously hire talent with personality here!

Namely our lunch service expanded and we start serving at 11.30 already. So, for breakfast in Ljubljana, there are several tasty options elsewhere, for lunch you are welcome from 11.30 until 16.00 (last possible arrival) from Monday to Saturday. We came to this restaurant situated in the castle for dinner. For starters, there are a beautiful views of Ljubljana below. We opted for the five course tasting menu (â¬56) and were blown away by the food. Courses were small, creative, absolutely delicious and attractively presented. We also had the optional wine pairing which included five exceptional Slovenian wines. We highly recommend this restaurant! Best food we had in 14 days in Slovenia and Croatia.

Restaurant is part of camp-sire (or the opposite is true). Stay on the campsite is free when taking dinner in the restaurant. The food is simple however taste-full. Staff is very friendly. Prices are little.Together with the present bus-stop in front of the resstaurant (for travelling to the capital), makes this restaurant a good part of a nice holiday package.
Very tasty food for a good price. We had grilled turkey steaks with garnish and salad and were very satisfied - tasty, big portion, nicely cooked, tasty salad seasoning. Very fast service and friendly waitress. Recommend this place.
RESTAURANT KONGO Our spacious hotel restaurant offers a choice of classic Slovenian, Balkan, Mediterranean and international dishes. You are also welcome to take in the fresh air and the beautiful sun on one of our exclusive terraces while enjoying your f
A well decorated restaurant continuing the Kongo theme. Zebra seat covers and bamboo planters. I may be being unfair because the menu is quite naturally in Slovenian and not speaking Slovenian (who does?) I ordered mushroom soup which was good and a cheese burger which was quite disgusting.

Gostilnica Orle is located on a wonderful location on the forest edge and it is right on the doorstep of the capital city. Our guests and visitors can choose from an excellent offer, along with tasteful home-made dishes, which follow the seasons, we also
We hiked to Orle from Urh and had a lunch there. We had expected a traditional Slovene restaurant and were rather surprised by a kind of American/Mexican restaurant. We shared a half of a fried chicken, a Greek salad and finished with pancakes and struklji. The food was tasty and well presented, the service was very friendly and the price reasonable.
