The cafe is very centrally located. A good place to people watch, even in winter. Average Austria price. In addition to coffee and sweets, a good place to have some small and cheap lunch. The service style is very much Viennese style, very efficient and effective, but don't expect a smile. Ok, maybe it's just a little warmer than in Vienna. This is a holiday town after all.

After the hike a cafe with a Sacher Cake or Lentils with dumplings with beer and rustic Hütten Gaudi with live music and pine schnapps.
After a 2 km walk up the hill you reach this newly renovated place. The food is traditional Austrian and homemade. My favourite: Kaspressdumplings with sour-cabbage. The staff is very nice. You can climb a tower and enjoy a great panorama of the Thermenregion.

Nipped in here for dinner before theatre and very pleased. Super fresh goulasch soup and then mozzarella & tomato salad. Ok it was not buffalo but it was good value and I took half home. The homemade cakes looked delicious but sadly had no room left. Super service and nice atmosphere. Will return..
