On days when the temperature wanders around 104-106, it is wonderful to go into a nice cool place with subdued lighting and Cornerstone Coffeehouse is the best for achieving this atmosphere in Lovington. The server are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. They are always courteous and friendly; even the shy ones. They have wonderful selection of coffees, sodas, sandwiches, and desserts. Ah, the desserts! They also have daily specials which are duplicated, absolutely nowhere else in Lovington. For an oasis on a hot day in Lovington; try the cornerstone coffeehouse across the street from the Lea County Courthouse Square.

We decided to eat in Lovington having never stopped there before. Drylands parking lot was full (good sign) but not overflowing, so we stopped. We are not big pizza fans but decided to split the brat sandwich. Asked to substitute salad for potato wedges. No problem. We ended up ordering another brat sandwich since the first was so good! Then ordered the pretzel brownie with ice cream with caramel and chocolate! Be still my heart! Everything is fresh and made in house. This is not a chain. Very modern/industrial decor. Each table in the restaurant has four USB ports. Suggested they open another location in Lubbock! The bar looked okay. I'm sure the service is equally wonderful on both sides!

The two people we saw working this restaurant had their hands full. The food was good and the service was good due to their strong efforts. That said, they obviously had no time for housekeeping between restaurant patrons and had to wait until closing to clean up. This lead to a problem of flies as we were late diners. They would benefit greatly from one more person to help sweep up crumbs and keep the flies under control. My Mexican platter was delicious and my wife enjoyed her Mexican food choices as well. We were both planning a dessert (which looked great) but we were done with swatting flies and had to escape.

Always great service and super food. I had deep fried avacados, authentic chips and hot green sauce, and the awesome Baja Shrimp. My favorite is the Seafood Platter. The food is always served perfectly, Service is always prompt and friendly, and prices are very fair for quality and quantity.

Walking into the Lazy 6 Restaurant is like walking back into time. The time when the west was wild and just starting to be tamed by hardy ranchers. With the owner's family being a part of that history in Lea County, New Mexico. Plus the food is delicious. You do not walk away hungry. If you do, it's your own fault. And to top off your meal, the owner, herself, bakes fresh desserts everyday...from carrot cake to coconut cream pie to chocolate cake, just to name a few. What a great place to eat a good meal.

Food was good. We had the chicken tender dinner and country fried steak sandwich, which both were hand breaded. The chicken tenders could have been cooked a little more for a crispier outside but the steak was cooked to perfection and twice the size of the bun. Tried the onion rings and French fries. Onion rings were great and french fries were good. Overall everything tasted fresh with no old oil taste that you can get in small town food joints like this sometimes. Next time we will try the burgers.
Service was very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi. The interior was clean but could use some sprucing up.

Sara's is an authentic Mexican restaurant that gives generous portions with fresh veggies. I eat here every time I'm in Lovington.

Buffet is not as well stocked with variety as Hobbs branch, but plentiful supply of fresh items. Menu is comprehensive - soups are freshly made and excellent for flavor. Veg soup is loaded with fresh vegs!!

Traveling through Lovington southbound towards Guadalupe Peak, found Robles late-morning on Mother's Day. EXCELLENT barbacoa. Grabbed a couple takeout, headed back to the lovely courthouse square and had a fine picnic before resuming the travels. Warm service. Very good local joint.
