Came here because it was our last evening in Vila Moura & fancied a well recommend place. We were not disappointed Chico was lovely, so friendly and passionate about his restaurant which was so nice. We had Gambas which was incredible had extra bread to dip in the garlic sauce! The sausage came out in a firing pig china pot which was such a lovely touch. We had 2 big jugs of sangria because it was so so tasty! Big up Maria Chicoâs wife who made all the food, he spoke so highly of her and it was all so tasty! We had 3 Chico steaks for mains, was huge and so tender! Also the apple tart for pudding was sooooo good I could have eaten more! All in all the service and food was fantastic and I highly recommend!Thanks Chico & Maria xxx

Last visited this establishment two years ago shortly before it closed down. It has now reopened presumably under new management. We were not disappointed. Great burgers, enjoyable starters and desserts all at very reasonable prices. Some really good refreshing non alcohol choices on the drinks menu. Friendly efficient service. I took some friends from out of town here as I read the reviews and it sounded good. However we were quite disappointed. The staff was very nice but the food was underwhelming.First, the non-vegetarian had lasagna and it was so dry to be inedible. My 5 year old daughter ordered the bean burger and it didn't come with any bread so she didn't want to eat it. The food took about 45 mins to arrive even though the restaurant was mostly empty. They brought everyone's food but forgot to bring mine for 10 mins after everyone else had started. I also had the bean burger (adults version comes with bun) and it was so flaky that it was falling apart in my hand as I was eating it.The location is good and the staff are nice, but they have a lot of work to do in making their food presentable.Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback.We are sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience. Regarding the children's burger, in the children's menu, one of the options (the burger) is written that comes the bean and quinoa burger with vegetable cheese and sweet potatoes, while in the adult's menu is written that the burger comes in a traditional bread. We can now finally say we are 100% Vegan, since there is no longer a "non-vegan" option.Thank you for your nice words on our staff and location. Just returned from a week in quartaria and I can honestly say that if it hadn't been for this place then I would have lived on pizza. They have a fantastic choice for vegetarians and non meat eaters. Food is cooked fresh and plenty of it. My husband thoroughly enjoyed all his dinners, swordfish, mixed grill and kebabs. All mains are served with either rice, chips, sauteed potatoes and either salad or 4 vegetables. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and good price for lovely food. Thank you Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we really do appreciate it. We are glad you found us and that we had everything that you needed to enjoy a nice meal. This place is new to VDL, sitting high up above the main square opposite the Donna Filipe hotel, with great views of the sea. Very modern & simplistic in decor but nicely done. This restaurant serves breakfast, brunches & late snacks.We have only had breakfast here whilst walking our dog but Wow itâs good. Breakfast is focused on healthy options which are good portions, with various juice, smoothie drinks as well as concentrated health shots. They even allow pets. Access is limited via steps but parking is available at the pay car park close to the restaurant. Service is very good, polite & friendly.would highly recommend.

Having been a regular to the Algarve for over 30 years, I had visited Iberico, but this was my first visit to Trio. The welcome at the door and the quality of food coupled with friendly service made it a well worthwhile find. The young couple running the restaurant are doing a great job and Trio is well worth a visit. My Father (with whom I was dining tonight) has already booked his next visit. He often dines out alone in the area and the warmth of the welcome, excellent service, and delicious food means this is likely to become a regular haunt. The wine list, as well as availability of good wine by the glass is a big plus.
