This place is unique. It is a phenomenal ice cream place that also serve Brazil-Vietnam Fusion food. The menu is varied and extensive, it may take several visits to enjoy it all. The customer service is excellent. The place is small, locally owned, and will make you feel welcomed. Love it and will return.

We had a get $10 off if you spend $50 coupon and used it last night for a Good Friday fish dinner. This place is in a strip center on the west side of Highway 21 (just north of the Winn- Dixie). It has a Sushi bar, sit down tables, and 4 sections of Hibachi grills that each seat about 8 to 10 people. To start off, we had several pieces of tuna, salmon and Octopus Sushi that were good. They brought me some kind of special Wasabi mix ( a little chunky, good, but 5 alarm nuclear - so be careful if you get this). For our Hibachi entrees we had scallops and shrimp, all very good. The guy who did the cooking was excellent and very entertaining. The couple of large Kirin-Ichiban beers didn't hurt either. There were plenty of younger kids in the place (seeming to enjoy it) so don't be afraid to bring your whole family.

There is not a finer business owner than Twin - she cares, she is dedicated, she will make it right if it isn't and I would be surprised if you would ever need her to redo something for you. She made a sushi lover out of my son and his friends at a young age and as adults they continue to go there. Just a fine woman with a fine business. There is nothing we don't like here - and there is nowhere we will go for sushi locally other than here. It is a small place but they turn over their tables quickly. They do have a bar as well. The wait staff is equally as wonderful. Place is clean and this is not a "formal" restaurant - wonderful ambience for the type of place it is.

I have eaten at Tchoupstix before but usually had the sushi. This time I was looking for something different and ordered the pork and greens ramen. It was an incredible fusion of Asian sauce and southern greens. The favor was amazing and the grilled pork was very tasty. My favorite appetizer is the salmon moo shoo. Again something you usually donât see together. The sushi is good here but you should try some of their more adventurous creations.

We have been out of town for about 5 days and no one wanted to cook tonight, so Sawasdee Thai to go was the unanimous choice. We had 3 entrees, one with coconut sauce -two with chicken and one with shrimp. And the Thai version of Hot & sour soup (excellent). Sorry we can't remember what we ordered, but it was all very good and had a good amount of vegetables mixed in with either shrimp or chicken. This is a very good Thai place just off the south side of Highway 22 west of 190 in Mandeville.

Dining at Trey Yuen is always a treat. The menu has grown over the years to include pretty much everybody's favorite plus Trey Yuen's own creations. Most of all the regions are represented: Hunan, Szechuan, Cantonese, etc. All done with flair, visually appealing, great tasting and served hot! Their wonton soup is delicate and superb. The appetizer platters are generous and well composed of chinese bbq, tempura fried shrimp, fried wings and egg rolls. Potstickers and crab rangoon are also favorites.Entrees are generous and, I think, one entree is more than enough for two. But get two so you'll have something for lunch the next day. I particularly like the Steak Special enter, the Presidential chicken or sweet and sour pork. Anything with Tong Cho sauce is stellar. In actuality, point a finger to any entree and you'll be happy. Any entree can be adjusted for spice level. Although tofu wasn't on the menu my friend got a lovely stir fried tofu with mixed veggies that was wonderful. Not to be missed is their seafood selection...always fresh and well cooked and presented.Specialty cocktails are also well made and generous. Try the Mai Tai or the Chi-Chi for fun before dinner drinks. The building, koi ponds, and decor really adds to the enjoyment of your visit. The staff is friendly and very efficient, although a few (but not all) could smile a bit now and then. Last time visited we had a excellent server who did a great job.

When Valentines Day and Ash Wednesday are the same day, a Sushi fix is in order. This last week we were also due for our quarterly sushi night out.Although it was fairly crowded with everyone else looking for an appropriate Valentines /Ash Wednesday palce, at about 7:45 pm we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a booth. People were still coming in when we finally left at about 8:30.This trip was my wife and I and our teenage daughter. For three of us we shared our favorite Ocean salad, a special "Hope" roll ( don't remember what was in it but it was good), and several pieces of tuna, salmon, and octopus sushi. The octopus had to be the biggest pieces I have ever had ( about 4inches long by about 1 inch wide). We were still a little hungry so we ordered a vegetable tempura after all the sushi.A couple large Kirin beers helped round out the whole day.

The restaurant is a welcome addition to Madisonville and the west side of Mandeville which is lacking in good Asian restaurants. Unfortunately this one isn't on par with other Thai restaurants in the area. We recently got takeout for dinner. Order was ready as promised. Service is fine. There was only one server handling everything, but only one couple were eating in the restaurant so she was able to handle the takeout business easily. As to the food, just ok. The fresh soft rolls on the menu are no longer available. The spring rolls were hard and seemed not too fresh. The Tom Yum soup was mostly broth. The Spicy Basil with Shrimp, however, was quite good. sauteed onions, bell pepper and basil in a nice brown sauce. We asked for hot, but not Thai hot which turned out to be about right. Plenty of spice, but not unbearable. If you live in the area and are in the mood for some spicy Thai food, Pad Thai may be worth a try, especially if you want a convenient takeout meal. There are no alcoholic beverages on the menu, so I suspect they don't have a license for that.
