I love a Chalupa, generally order 2 & this is my normal stopping place especially to avoided a crowded restaurant.I have always found this particular restaurant to be clean & orderly with friendly employees. The location may be the reason I have never found not to be crowded since the intersection leading to it is such a terrible place to make the turn.Otherwise a normal Taco Bell.
This is now my wife's favourite Mexican Restaurant in Alexandria. It doesn't have a full menu like the others but what it does serve in the way of Tacos, Enchiladas, Quesadillas and Burritos are fantastic. They also do lunchtime specials and a breakfast menu. The staff there are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. Prices are very good fro what you get.

Went today for lunch. Iâd say this will easily be the best Mexican restaurant in Alexandria. First thing that catches your attention obviously is the interior decor, they made the place look really nice. The chips and salsa are the bomb, perfect temp, thin, crispy & not greasy! Our entrees arrived quickly & at the time there were a lot of customers. Iâm not normally a tamale person but Iâve heard good things about them from the other location in Forest Hill (which Iâve never been to)... I ordered the Mi Tierra plate: $10, rice, beans, 1 enchiladas, 1 taco and 1 tamale. The plate was very good. My favorite part was the tamale. Iâve noticed at most âMexicanâ restaurants here the rice is super bland, not the case here, very good flavor.

This is quality Mexican-American food, and the atmosphere is cute. Waitstaff is very professional and quick, and they have a rare dignity that I've only ever seen from Parisian waiters before today.

Exists in UrbanSpoon, Yelp, FourSquare, etc.
We ate here for dinner while staying overnight in the area. The restaurant was barely occupied so we were quickly seated. Our waitress did not speak fluent English but we were able to communicate our specific needs. The appetizers and drinks were served quickly but our meals took a bit longer as they were cooked to order. My only complaint was the refried beans were nothing special at all, typical of many chain restaurants. The fajitas were very good. My husband ordered a whole fried fish which he said was over-cooked.We would eat here again if staying in Alexandria.

It's a "tell" when a hostess seats you at an obviously dirty table. Had to clean it ourselves because no one ever came to wipe the food, etc. from the last diner.Service friendly, but took a long time for everything-initial waters/refills/condiments/etc.We were cautioned about the hot plate, but not the cold food! My enchiladas were ice cold in the middle.Alexandria is not a epicurean Eldorado, but I don't think El Paso will make the "keeper" list.

First time visit here. Very nice establishment. Food was very good as was the service, particularly from Andres and Lynnette who were most helpful. The aforementioned made some fantastic margaritas. Will definitely be visiting again.
