My husband & I made our anniversary reservations a few months ago and were looking for to our special night. 2 weeks prior I was diagnosed with Alpha-Gal Syndrome which is an allergy to red meat (yes folks itâs real). While we toyed with changing reservations to a different restaurant so I would have more options I am so glad that we didnât. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly people. The hostess asked us to wait while she made sure our table was ready and to our surprise she had sprinkled anniversary greetings on the table which was such a nice surprise! After that we were greeted by our wonderful server Steven. He was so friendly, knowledgeable & attentive. Despite me not being able to eat red meat he really talked up my limited options. I went with the baked stuffed chicken which did not disappoint and Steven even referred to it as the âunsung heroâ of Ruthâs Chris. I donât when Iâll get to New Orleans again but if I do I will definitely go back to Ruthâs Chris. I strongly recommend this restaurant to others. And we look forward to trying to Ruthâs Chris Steakhouses closer to home.

Chophouse New Orleans has crafted a niche by serving a USDA Prime-only menu including chilled Carpaccio, expertly broiled Filet and a monster 40oz. Porterhouse for two. The restaurants relaxed sophistication complements the great food and bustling, live e
Nothing less than a five is fair. Service is informal and friendly, but competent, prompt, and fun. The menu is short and simple. Steaks... incredibly good. Lobster (regular and fried, which is unusual, both noteworthy), and the special tasting menu, expensive but priceless. Delicious. Atmosphere old fashion, clearly a steakhouse; but you are not required to wear coat or tie... but could and would feel comfortable. Tables a little small for the amount of food you will put on them... Fun and involved piano player (not sure if he is there all the time)... good music but not too loud for conversation. You won't leave without spending a pretty penny (or dollar) but its worth it.

Had a business dinner with clients. Table was ready when we arrived, excellent service from seating til leaving. Appetizers all well prepared, favorite was beetroot supreme. The wine list was extensive & per my colleagues, the recommended wines were excellent. I had a Szarac, which was very good. Everyone else had steak, and described it was done as requested. I had redfish and it was one of the best I've had. The Bonaparte dessert was also very good.

La Boca is an Argentine style steakhouse with our entire menu focused on the national food of Argentina, beef. 13 different cuts on any given night accompanied with legendary french fries and house made pastas. The wine list is entirely from Argentina wit
This was our second time to go to La Boca and it was just as perfect as the first!! Every appetizer and side dish are unique and my steak was cooked perfectly! It is a fairly small place so you need reservations. Also if you have at least 4 people and all will commit, for about $55 each they bring you 4 courses and itâs all amazing and worth every dime!!

Desi Vega is the restaurateur of Zagat's 7th ranked steakhouse in America, Mr. John's and the new Desi Vega's Steakhouse. Due to the success of Mr. John's, Desi began to look for another location. He chose one on St Charles Avenue (formerly Mike's On The
Desi Vegaâs offers solid steakhouse fare in a classy, updated environment. We enjoyed our visit but our experience was a touch unbalanced. Iâll explain. The room is all style. Very clean lines. Not the slightest bit pretentious or overdone. But it does get loud when the place fills up. Our service was mostly steakhouse professional but there were some significant misses. For whatever reason, they could not get our drinks right. The cocktails were slow coming and did not come at the same time. They brought us the wrong wine a couple of times. And in the end I had to remind them that we bought a bottle of wine. The wait staffâs execution was just simply off. The food was all good. Expensive steakhouse prices certainly. But all good. The servings were generous. We did not love the apps (who dat shrimp), but it made up for it with the peanut butter pie for dessert. All in, you pay a premium at Desi Vega and we enjoyed it but would not return. I think the service errors were incidental and not to be expected.

We went to this restaurant with another couple and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good, The servers was awesome and it did not matter which waiter came by --they were willing and able to help. The atmosphere was very nice. The cooks, and waiters worked and ran like a smooth machines. It was awesome to watch.

I thought they did everything really well. The food was exactly what you'd expect in a steakhouse. I thought the portions and prices were more than fair. The service was great. I will be back on my next trip to the city.
